Worst effing visit ever. Pulled up to a waitress smoking sitting on curb in front of door.
Sat and ordered. Only 2 tables and that includes ours. 2 managers and 1 took my order, forgot items on each so just threw a piece of cheese on the hash browns. Nice and had not melted, how I like it. (Sarcasm). Forgot chocolate chips on a chocolate chip waffle.
Had to then ask for syrup, waitress never came back to check, had to then seek a bill. I mean do I tip do I not. Place is a joke.

Enter the restaurant went to the restroom came back and sat down. There were four waitresses in there and one cook. The cook was working on orders there was four waitresses to walk by me twice I sat there for 7 minutes no one even acknowledged my existence. I got up and walked out and was never served.

I always eat a healthy meal by making a special order. I enjoy the Waffle House due to down to earth good old fashioned service. Kudos to those who work at America's own
Dietary restrictions: I order a 4 egg Fiesta Omelet and ask that ingredients not be sautéed. No hash browns, no grits, no toast. It cuts down on the oils, and gives a great source of protein. I joke that it should be offered as Gene's Omelet on the menu lol

Although I gave it just an okay rating, I have to confess that I've been going there at least two days a week for probably 7 years or so. There's a small group of people that we call the regulars and I enjoy their company. They have some wonderful waitresses that I've gotten to know over the years. I will say that there is a lot of drama sometimes and maybe I know that because I've been going there so long. They keep it very cold in there and I often have to go out to my car to get my shawl. That said, I'm also not running around back by the grills where I'm sure it gets quite hot.
Do not go there if girl name Angel work there. She is being so disrespectful to us deaf. We can’t hear and she yell at me for the order I told her I can’t hear cos I just had surgery.
