My family and I ate dinner at Waffle House on Wade Hampton in Taylors. The restaurant is a little older and needs a refresh. It was clean enough, but finishes on table tops and flooring look worn. \nOur server was friendly and attentive: our food was prepared promptly and was good. The food is diner style and has generous portions. The eggs and bacon were very good. The waffles are good. The grits were ok. My wife said the hash browns were good. I would return to this Waffle House:
This location is frequently a perfect experience with friendly wait staff and delicious food. Almost everything on the menu is more than filling, and the variety of available options leaves nothing to be desired. Whether you're getting breakfast food, or going for a simple lunch, you can't go wrong with coming here
I always eat a healthy meal by making a special order. I enjoy the Waffle House due to down to earth good old fashioned service. Kudos to those who work at America's own
Dietary restrictions: I order a 4 egg Fiesta Omelet and ask that ingredients not be sautéed. No hash browns, no grits, no toast. It cuts down on the oils, and gives a great source of protein. I joke that it should be offered as Gene's Omelet on the menu lol
