The food was great! Our server was a delight! Enjoyed visiting with friends!

I tried this place twice, first time i thought maybe they were having a bad day, second time I knew better than to ever go back. I am sure people who grew up eating here still love it, but it is gross, everything has a metal kind of used oil taste to it. They remain busy for the most part but its always the same ol' red hat people going to it. Tourist, just keep driving.

Edit: New owners: a friend of mine brought me here because it is completely different then before and he believed there was new owners. He was right, it has changed, food is much better.

It’s been a few years since I’ve stopped in for a great home cooked meat and three lunch.

The menu for lunch choices was hard printed in the menu. The protein choices limited to maybe 5 items. I chose the fried chicken and Potato Salad. Much to my surprise when I received my plate my fried chicken was a fried Butterflied chicken tender and my Potato Salad obviously came from a package and not home cooked. Absolutely not what I expected from a well rooted community restaurant serving home fresh cooked meat and vegetables

Great last-minute stop on the way up the mountain, the buttermilk chicken was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, juicy on the inside and super crispy on the outside. Great sides too, loved the collards and pinto beans.

The food was really good & fresh! The service was excellent. My mother and I ate there for the first sense the new ownership. High recommend! Affordable. Family friendly environment! Our waitress Abby was really kind! We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing brunch experience at this local restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything we ordered was fresh.

We truly enjoyed our brunch here. One standout item I highly recommend is the broccoli casserole. It was incredibly tasty and definitely something we’ll be coming back for.

Overall, a fantastic spot for brunch. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in TR.

This is THE establishment of the upstate. I grew up eating here 20 years ago as a kid, and remembered having the best burgers. I stopped by again today, it’s even better than I remember as a kid. The breakfast is amazing, amazing burgers, if you haven’t been here before you’re missing out!!
