Ordered the steak, chicken and pork belly Yakitori. The steak meat had flavor but a little chewy. Chicken was okay. Pork belly was my favorite. All lacked marinade flavor overall.
Ordered the lemon jerk wings. Those were delicious and I really enjoyed it.
It took awhile for the food to come out but would come back again to try more items.

Food was burnt, shrimp so overcooked they were chewy, and scallops were hard little nuggets barely larger than a pencil eraser. We spent $33 on 10 skewers for two people, which wasn’t much food at all, left us hungry and we debated going to another restaurant to actually get dinner. Nice beer garden though, but won’t eat there again.

I love it here. Been coming here for 2 years on my bike. 1st=$10 Skewers&Rice, then $12 and Today $14 WOW that's going to be to much$$ for me even if the food is good. The corn was hard and the beef to rare even I told them to cook med.well. Sorry to leave not a great review. Annette Treude 😊

This was our first time, and everything was great. The only suggestion that I would make is make it a date, or a stop by for a quick meal while out biking or walking. We went for a birthday celebration, and to me it's not set up for that. But other than that it was great.

Delicious skewers of whatever meat or vegetables you choose. You get a nice amount of rice with tasty sauce. The pork belly skewer is yummmm. Honestly they are all very tasty. Great atmosphere. Lots of dogs and puppies to watch. The people who work here have been kind. I've been several times now. This is on the swamp rabbit trail so lots of people watching to be done while you eat. You can take it to go too. This is right next to community tap so you have a walk up bar as well visit as well. It can get extremely busy in this area.
I absolutely love Sushi yama. I've been coming here since they've opened. This is the first place that introduced me to sushi. I've never had a bad sushi here.
My husband and I came here for an omakasi for our anniversary. Chef Rick and all the staff were extremely nice and personable. The food was absolutely amazing and probably the best food that I've ever tasted. We are already planning our next omakasi with them!

The wait time was close to an hour. The food was not worth the money. I ordered 3 yakitori and rice. One was scallops and they gave me 3 bits of meat about the size of a dime or smaller each. The flavors are nothing exceptional. There weren't enough chairs for all the people there. We won't be back.

40 minutes later, she said they can’t make it and I’d have to wait another 15 minutes.

Excellent experience, casual relaxed, open air, good finger food. Dogs are welcomed. Prices are reasonable. I'll definitely return for many reasons but reason #1 is for the chicken wings. Perfection! We loved the salt and vinegar wings. Also, street corn of the cob, skewered chicken, short rib, zucchini, meat balls, and the steamed rice was delicious. We will return.
