Good food but not great. Which is great if your looking for something more home cook feel then the normal restaurant feel. Felt like i stop by a relative place for some food.

Stopped here after a visit in Manning. The buffet was nothing special. Had a lot to choose from but for example there wasn't any white meat fried chicken only dark meat pieces. They had turkey and dressing but the dressing was a really bad recipe using the stuffing mix you get in the grocery store. And loaded with sodium. The turkey was pulled turkey meat cooked in gravy. Couldn't find white meat in the pan because it was all mixed in with skin, fat and everything. No cranberry sauce either. They had gravy covered neck meat in another pan, gravy covered pork chops, gravy covered beef liver, neck bones, gray covered everything. There was a pan of fried chicken but as I said no white meat. All meat selections were smothered in gravy. So if you don't like gravy you limited to dark meat fried chicken. They did have several sides, butter beans, potato salad, slaw, macaroni and cheese, collards, rice and peas. The desert was apple cobbler and peach cobbler. There wasn't any bread crust on either of them. Just that plain recipe where you dump a can of peaches or apples in a pan, sweetened with sugar, then mix butter, flour, and milk together and pour over the fruit and bake it. It forms a gooey sticky batter that's not good. Too gooey to enjoy. No bread, biscuits or cornbread at all either. Our server, which was only one woman, she took our drink order and took a while to bring to us. And she got my tea wrong, I ordered unsweet but she brought sweet. Took another wait to get the unsweet. Then at the end, I asked her if they were going to bring out a fresh cobbler and she took so long for her to let us know, so we just left. We will not return.

Food was very bland, instant mashed potatoes with no flavor at all, meatloaf no flavor, and way overpriced at $10.99lb. We ended up throwing our food away and losing the $29. We went to Golden Corral in Florence instead.
My family and I travel all the way from North Carolina to enjoy the best soul food in South Carolina at Sweet B’s! The owner and staff are incredibly professional and caring. I truly feel like we have become a part of their extended family, despite the distance! If you’re looking for delicious soul food, be sure to stop at Sweet B’s Restaurant—you won’t be disappointed! We will always support you whenever we are visiting! 💕
My mother really enjoyed her Mother’s Day Dinner! The food and hospitality was amazing! We will definitely be back!!
My fiance and I were road tripping last Sunday on our way from Myrtle Beach to Savanna, super hungry and could only find fast food and overly busy restaurants. Luckily we saw Sweet B's sign for Sunday buffet as we passed and decided to turn around and try it out. This was by far, the best food and service we had on our week long trip! The buffet had a wide selection of all kinds of southern/soul food, even things I, as someone who grew up in Washington state, had never tried before. All of it was delicious! The price was much lower than we expected for such an amazing meal, great service and immediate hospitality! This place is truly worth going out of your way for a great meal!

I live 2 mins from Sweet B’s. We usually eat in but this particular Sunday we couldn’t so I told my husband I would run up the street and get us a take out plate. Fixed our usual things Rice, gravy, veggies, Mac n cheese, he got pork chop and I got fried chicken. I get up to the register to find out my price is determined by weight. I was okay until my total came to $50.00 which included a percentage for using my “debit” card. I didn’t have enough in me to leave the plates on the counter and walk out but I will not be returning. I guess we should’ve eaten in or not at all because at least I would’ve gotten it for less and got a dessert also. The food is ALWAYS so good but $50 for two take outs was crazy to me JMO.

Today my parents took us to Sweet B’s Country Kitchen and Catering located in Turbeville, SC. As you approach this establishment you’re met with a quaint porch with rocking chairs and pillows almost as if you’ve just arrived to your Aunty’s house for a home cooked meal. Inside is buffet style dining. Todays menu was spaghetti, fried fish, fried shrimp, Mac n cheese, red rice with sausage, seasoned red beans, white rice, fried okra, sausage, fried chicken and several choices of cake. The food was delicious and well seasoned and included a slice of cake and a beverage. Our total was reasonably priced and definitely worth it. If you’re in the area you should check them out. They’re open Sundays and this Easter. Management advised Sunday is a larger choice of food options on the buffet.
