Travel here once a year for the past several years. Carmines is a must. Cozy atmosphere, incredibly attentive staff and the food is so delicious. Rib Eye and Chicken Alfredo were the big hits for our table. Make reservations, it’s not a large dining room.
Great experience at Carmine’s! Went for dinner after Saturday Vigil Mass, and the food and service was great! The Filet was cooked perfectly, med-rare, the wife really enjoyed her Chicken Limone …… downtown Walterboro can benefit from more good eats such as Carmine’s. Lots of potential!
Great Italian vibe here. Wine by the glass was a very healthy pour. Shrimp with linguine (red sauce) and the chicken Marsala were both winners. Have it an overall 4 due to a few things- ordered a second glass of wine that never arrived; no one checked on us after we ordered the glass (at the same time as our entrees arrived); and the pasta bowls were pretty, but it was impossible to cut up the shrimp.
