This place does everything they can to avoid taking an order over the phone. They won’t answer the phone at all forcing you to use their website- I finally was placing an order and then I notice they charge you for chips and salsa when you do to-go???? Absolutely not. I’ll take my business somewhere else.

The service was bad. The waiter
Wouldn't come check on us. We had to find him anytime we needed something. Sat for 10 minutes waiting for a drink refill. Portion sizes are small, my one year old could have eaten my rice by himself had air pods in we was talking to him.

Don’t be fooled by the lack of curb appeal or the fact that it’s in an off the path strip mall. This place is legit. From the beautiful tiled floor and decor inside to the flavor of the food to the price. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The shredded chicken is amazing in no matter what dish you get. Very flavorful which is very hard to find and I’m very picky about my chicken. I don’t eat beef or pork or dairy and there was no issue accommodating me here. The Texas guacamole is fabulous. Fresh ingredients and chunks of avocado. Chips are thin and crispy not thick like some other restaurants. This is now the only Mexican restaurant we will go to. I don’t know why it’s not packed every day but once you try it you’ll definitely be back and you’ll want to tell all your friends.

It was very odd. The server barely spoke English some what rude when I asked questions. He showed up at our table took our drink order and seemed pissed that we were not ready to order.We ordered margaritas on the rocks with salt. We got no salt and not sure what flavor it was.food got set in front of us and no one ever came near our table again. Looking to pay the check and someone said go to the front and wait. And for the first time since we ordered the server showed up to tell us what we owed. Never seen anything let me this. Would not go back.

Wanted to give this place a try since El Pueblo was packed.
Got seated immediately. This place has a lot of beautiful artwork. They took our order, got the drinks and food quick. The food was good, cheese dip was great. We got more food for less money than if we went to the other restaurant. But no one came to refill our drinks and when we asked the host for a to-go plate, she had an attitude and cut her eyes while grabbing it for us. I can understand being busy but an attitude always kills my desire to come back. Many of your customers just got off work from a job they hate to spend their money here.

Now THAT was some GOOD Mexican food. We live in south Texas about 30 miles from the Mexican border. This restaurant serves the real authentic flavors!

We ordered plenty of amazing food for 6 people with prices barely reaching 10 dollars per person! Amazing service from all staff! The food had such amazing flavor! Would definitely reccomend for anyone wanting a quick bite or wanting to stay for a while!
