Really wanted to like this place. First timer today. Walked in and no acknowledgement. Asked a patron at the bar if we could seat ourselves and he said yes (thank you to him) Proceeded to sit outside, still nothing. I go inside and stand there, nothing. Finally I had to interrupt the waitress who was walking by and ask for menus. Order drinks, get water instead of sprite. Get that corrected, apparently drink order was crossed. Food was standard fare, nothing awful. Was told check would come to us and we wait yet again. Finally just went inside and got the check and paid. Only saw one young lady working and on the move the entire time so I don’t blame her. But to post meals and invite people in when it was clear the staff could not handle it is not great business. We watched another family come in by boat. Wait and leave due to no service. Hope it was an off day for you all because the location is nice but we won’t return.
I prefer somewhat quieter places hence why I rated the atmosphere has three as it was bustling with people who were taking part in a cruise in. Thus very noisy. However having said that we enjoyed our time there and our meal. We sat outside on the deck watching the boats come and go and enjoying looking out at the lake. Hubby had the breakfast Burger with onion rings and I had the fish and chips. Again personal preference I'd have liked the chips to not be shoe string but have more bulk to them, but they are hand cut and they tasted good. The poor bartender/waitress was extremely busy and we felt sorry for her being the only person working with so many people coming in for food and drink. Despite that she remained cheerful and had a wonderful personality. We will definitely be stopping back by again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My partner and I sat there for over 30 minutes, and no one served us. Afterward, my partner got up from the table to see if anyone could serve us. They just told him they would be right there, but they never did. There weren't even that many people, and if they felt busy, they should hire more staff. The worst experience.

We’ve been to Port Grill in Waterloo, SC many times and have always loved the food and atmosphere. It’s one of our favorite local spots.
Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We waited over 1.5 hours for hot dogs and chicken tenders from the lunch menu, and no one updated us on what was happening. We later found out there were staffing issues, which we understand — but no communication from the staff or management made the experience frustrating.
No manager came by, and nothing was offered to make up for the delay — no apology, no discount, nothing.
We really hate writing bad reviews, especially for a place we’ve enjoyed so much. Hopefully, this was just a rare off day.

Yum! We came by boat and the food was delicious. Our server, Kennedy, was super sweet and answered all our questions. They have hand cut fries! I got the club wrap and it was perfect!

Had a weekly special burger - Burger itself is wonderful worth the weekly special price alone but fries and onion rings were extra crispy to the point some of the fries were just hard. Burger alone for me rides this place to 4 stars.
Had a great time at the Tuesday ladies bingo. Drove from Ware Shoals and it was well worth.
Fun time - well managed.

We’ve been to Port Grill twice and had the best experience! The food and drinks have been top tier!
Service was standard, not great, not bad. Burgers are really thick, cooked well done (not by choice), fries and rings were cold. The fried green beans and banana peppers were good though. It was a hot day and the AC was not doing it job.

Bartender was so wonderful.
They had the boat poker run and it was packed and music a going. Everyone was having a great time.
Appetizers were yummy, drinks were cold, and our server Chandler was precious! Enjoyed our Father’s Day stop on Lake Greenwood.
Came here to say for Fathers Day, today and the wait time is awful!! We arrive around 12:40pm and ordered our food at 12:52pm. It was absolutely ridiculous, after 30 mins we asked how much longer our food would be and the waitress didn’t know. She came back 15 mins later and said they had NO BUNS for the burgers. It’s not the waitresses fault at all. She can only bring the food and take the orders. We will no longer come to this place!! Here it is 1 hour and 20 mins and 2 of us are still waiting in a cheeseburger and chicken tenders. And the fries on the other plates are cold. Absolutely horrible!! Makes you wonder how this place makes a money seeing as I’ve seen other reviews that says the same thing now that I’m looking!
Enjoyed an evening at Port Grill! Friendly people and good food and drink.
Deck overlooking boat docks was a bonus for my grandson. He loved watching the boats and the turtles.
