Awesome brunch. Omelette was outstanding!
This is by far the best Brunch in town and for dinner anytime. Always friendly staff and great food. I have been coming here since they opened and never have had a bad meal. The omelette is always very good. Order a side of bacon, it is the best around.
Cozy place with amazing food and great drinks. The omelette was spectacular!!
Excellent brunch and great service - especially for a Saturday morning. I love coming to 116 when I'm in town.
Helpful staff., knowledgeable helpful very very friendly a nice experience to go there
Great food! Cool atmosphere and good coffee.
The duck and hash brunch was outta this world! Excellently prepared and the staff was friendly and attentive- especially our waiter, Jimmy!
Food and service are definitely 5 stars! Our server Maddie was super personable and made us feel right at home. Been living in Cola for 4 years and have had this place on my list of places to check out. Regretting waiting so long cause we really enjoyed everything. Will be back to try out brunch!
Great little spot on the west side. Casual- sophisticated atmosphere with a nice ambiance and a decent food menu with creative dishes that are really good. Oh, and the wine is really good, too... I had their cheapest Tempranillo at $7, and it was amazing. Paired that with a Chimichurri plate with steak, chorizo, shrimp and plantains which was really tasty. Service is great. Apparently there are really good deals on Thursdays. Looking forward to coming back to this place.
116 State is one of the hidden gems of the West Columbia side of the Congaree River. The service and food EXCEED expectations!!! I love this place and hope to be considered a "regular" by the staff.

My favorite brunch place! Affordability and quality is their mantra there. Alcoholic and coffee drinks were great! I've never gone for dinner though.
Best restaurant in Columbia for brunch and dinner. The wait staff is excellent and they have a full bar with a fabulous bartender. The food is clean and preservative free. Always delicious. Can't go wrong. They also have a frequent user card that you can use to save up for a free meal. You won't regret going.
Really good food, wine and service. Food is creative, well seasoned and creative. All size portions. A favorite always. Liz
People of Yelp, this place is perfect for brunch or a date night. It's a tapas place so we ordered 4-5 small plates and were happy. The drinks menu is expansive - lots of wines, beers, and even seasonal cocktails. The staff was busy the night we went, but so patient and accommodating - so thank you! Also, if you're looking for a place to go after 116 closes, go down the sidewalk to The New Brookland Tavern. Live music/karaoke/shows every night!
Out-of-towner with an outsiders perspective/review. My total review rating is somewhere between 3-4, probably about a 3.5. If White Russians are your thing then I would recommend you check this place out, because they had several strong options. I tried two (the most traditional type and the float style one) and thought they were pretty good, and I do NOT have a White Russian palette. My brunch date got the duck which was melt in your mouth delicious and I got the special which was basically the potato medley with BBQ pork on top. They added goat cheese and even as a major fan of goat cheese I knew this was a super wrong combo from the menu read get-go, BUT wanted to taste the dish as they intended before I made a final determination. Personally, I think it would have been far better with a feta or maybe even a simple cheddar. Just a wrong pairing with the BBQ pork and potato's all together though. Then to finish things off we split the Belgium waffle special. This was a rather big disappointment because I have potentially the world's biggest sweets addiction, so I will really looking forward to it. The strawberries were previously frozen which was ding number one (small detail, but a ding none the less), but the bigger ding was the actually the waffle. There was SO much sugar in it, wayyyy to much sugar in it!!! Or perhaps the sugar was not sifted or even the wrong type may have been used/the issue. It was so sugary y'all the waffle finished with a gritty texture and taste that was just not pleasent. Flavor was great, but that sugar situation needs some attention. And again, this is coming from the biggest sweet tooth on the planet, haha. So just beware. Overall though, the atmosphere was alright. A bit sceny and hipster overrun, but still pleasant. My first cup of coffee was good and the second was foul, no idea what happened there. Sadly, I do not however think it was worth the 30 minute wait (which was actually an hour because we called ahead to get on the list even 30 minutes prior to that).
