Always Original Bakery

Always Original Bakery is the MOVE!!! I purchased a dozen cupcakes (chocolate, vanilla and red velvet) for a Valentine’s Day, get together, and they were a HIT! George, Jay and their staff were so gracious. I will return again, as much as my waistline allows me!

While out this past Sunday for lunch in Columbia, I googled for a bakery, I always want something sweet and this place hit the spot,I'm bad with names but from the time my husband and I walked in, the guy behind the counter was awesome- based on my nut allergy-I got the banana pudding,vanilla and caramel apple cake bites and a slice of pineapple upside cake- they were all great- Thank you again,you're customer service was awesome and so were the treats,I will definitely be back

We come every single Sunday and pick up a cake for dinner with the in-laws. We’ve also ordered one baby shower cake, two smash cakes, and a birthday cake from here.

Needless to say, the bakery is top notch. Probably one of the best (if not the best) in the Columbia area.

Delicious & expensive cakes!

George have a great personality and coming in this building you feel loved and welcome. Not only their cakes and cookies are delicious, but the hospitality is phenomenal.

Went today for the first time love that they had fun cake pops and cupcakes for the kids

The cakes and pastries we have purchased have all been delicious. It is apparent that excellent ingredients were used by skilled bakers in their preparation. And their gluten free options, although limited, were all superior to others I have had elsewhere.

My wife and I are visiting for the week with our daughter and grandson. We were in search of a bakery nearby and relied on google searches and after reading reviews we decided to make the trip to Always Original Bakery. We were very happy we did! Everything was as delicious as it looked. It was so hard to choose after initially craving a danish however the cake-bites had us both drooling ?! For the record we left with an Apple-Walnut pie slice, blueberry turnover, Napoleon Raspberry (Mille-Feuille), lemon drop, banana pudding, and two cookies and cream brownies. Yes, greedy can describe us ? and customer service was second to none. Bravo Zulu to staff, will visit again.

I wish I could give 6 stars because this cake was so good! Other bakeries gave me the run around with the imagine I wanted on the cake, but not these guys. The staff was so helpful, the cake was ready on time, and it was so so good. A+
