I purchased an assorted box of cake bites. I specifically asked the person behind the counter to include her favorites, the banana pudding and the salted caramel, because I always want to know what the people who work at a bakery eat. I would have been satisfied with a whole box of banana pudding! Wow, was it good. Each pastry costs $2.50, $3, or $6 more or less, and the box was a good deal. They're sweet, but not so sweet they overwhelm you. There's a great distinction of flavor from cake to cake and they're all winners. If I come back to West Columbia, SC, this is a definite stop!

First time customer. Now a forever customer. Purchased the cinnamon donut bread for a family dinner. It was a hit and my in-laws went to purchase a loaf the next day. They used it to make Sunday french toast. Highly recommend. Super friendly staff.

We came to them for our daughter’s first birthday cake and they did an incredible job! They were so kind and sweet when we ordered the cake and were so easy to work with. We got a smash cake and a sheet cake for the party. They did a yellow cake with a raspberry filling and whipped cream icing, and it was delicious! The decorations were beautiful, it was just perfect!! Everyone at the party raved about how good it was and even a week later the cake was still soft and moist and delicious! Cannot speak highly enough about Always Original and we will definitely back for anything we need!

Yelp gave me the wrong times and I went in after they closed. The owners (I’m assuming) still let me in and were so kind! Wonderful selection and VERY reasonably priced. Oh and their banana pudding cake bite is SO GOOD. I got a few things and that’s the first thing I tried. I haven’t tried the other stuff yet. But I’m sure I’m going to be editing this post later to update. They have dog treats for your fur babies and you can tell it was made with love because it’s not those dry cookies you get at pet supplies. Honestly they were so cute I wanted to take a bite myself. Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Can’t wait to go back. Probably going to gain some weight but so worth it

Went in to pick up something for our veterinarian's office. We decided on a dozen assorted mini cake bites (basically a mini cupcakes). They are absolutely beautiful! Definitely worth the $24. My bf got a coconut espresso macaroon, I got a Napoleon, and we got some baked treats for our pups. Everyone is beyond satisfied. Can't wait to go back!

The lemon blueberry cookie is great and the oatmeal cream sandwich (which I got the last one of) was amazing! Friends I was with all raved about their selections as well. Got to speak with the owner and he was very kind and explained the background of some of the items which was very interesting. Will definitely be back!

Just the cutest bakery and the friendliest staff. Their blueberry and lemon cookies are outstanding. You have to try their donut loaf, the perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar on the outside and extra cinnamon swirled in the middle.

We like this new bakery when we are going to or from downtown! It's very clean but you can't eat inside. The employees are nice. My daughter loves the cake pops and I love the carrot cake cake pop when they have it. I know bakeries change their items regularly but sometimes they don't have any carrot cake options which I find disappointing. They have lots of items to choose from so if you are interested in variety this is a great place. My husband really liked the banana pudding baby cakes and I like the size/price of them. They also have cute treats for dogs that are very reasonably priced.
