The coffee I was served was barely warm. (She did get me another one.) We ordered beignets and never got them. My waffle came out cold. The server got me another one, but I had to wait over 20 minutes to get it.

This place was pretty busy on a Saturday morning. My brother and I sat at the bar and ordered Abe's Famous Bloody Mary's and coffee with Frangelica. It was a perfect way to start the day! I ordered the Broken Eggs Biscuit Sandwich with potatoes and added gravy to everything, and my brother got the buttermilk pancakes with eggs and bacon.... The bacon was incredibly good, like I wanted to order more good! The Bloody Mary should be Famous, it was so good I had two! The bartenders were great and very attentive even with the brunch rush. The couple sitting next to us got the strawberry pound cake French toast, and if it tasted half as good as it looked, it must've been just short of amazing.

Not the 1st time I been to another broken egg but this location was a first. It's near downtown Columbia... went around noon. So not busy at all. I was shocked that it had limited seating. I guess I was expected it to have more but they did have outdoor seating. I like how they change up the menu. I can look for always to somethibg new. Often. Food was good as usual. The sausage. Was amazing( pause).... this is definitely a good breakfast/ brunch spot.

I've eaten at this chain a few times before in NC, but this one in Columbus SC did not impress me as much. This is the very first time I drank my entire cup of coffee before they came by to top it off, (and I don't drink it quickly). We waited for our omlets for a good 20-25 minutes. The place wasn't overly busy, so I don't understand why the delay. The employees were walking around with zombie faces, a smile here or there, but mostly just a blank stare. Food wasn't bad, but I was spoiled by the grits I had for dinner the night prior at another restaurant, so these ones, while pretty good, left me feeling like they just didn't hold up to expectations. (Just my personal preferences, not saying they were bad). Overall, just not the experience I'm used to at ABE.
Parking: Ended up parking 1/2 block away not knowing the area and not seeing a parking lot.
The menu looked good but the wait was too long so we decided to go somewhere else. There was a breast cancer walk that was going on when we went and it was driving a lot of traffic to the restaurant. The staff told that it would be about a 30 min wait. Maybe next time.

The most overpriced mediocre food I've ever tried. The sad excuse of chicken and waffles for $15.30??? My coworker said the jumbo was a 5/10 AND her coffee had spoiled creamer in it. The floor was incredibly sticky. I wouldn't even recommend it
