Checked the reviews for restaurants with the best home cooked food before we went. Carolina Buffet looked like a good pick. I'm glad we gave it a chance. The fried chicken had wonderful seasoning and was cooked just to the point or perfect doneness, so it was moist and juicy. Perfect fried chicken! Great southern atmosphere like you in grandma’s kitchen. Food tastes like it’s made of love. The wait staff was not very attentive to my needs but I was sitting alone so maybe that was the issue. I try to spoil myself with this buffet
Honestly this was pretty mid. You're better off buying fried chicken from food lion or Publix. I can't recommend this place sadly. I have no idea why so many people like it.
