I drive over 8 hours from Orlando to Greenville often. I try to make it a point to come here on the way if possible since the Simpsonville La Fogata location was a staple of my childhood. On my last drive, I almost missed it to closing time due to getting in seven different traffic jams on I-26 and I-95, but thankfully they took me in just before closing which I am very grateful for.

And food wise, the nachos, salsa, chips, queso, and everything else is off the charts good, and the service is amazing. La Fogata will always be my favorite Mexican restaraunt and I’m an extremely happy customer every time I come back to SC to see family. This isn’t just a good restaraunt, it’s the type of restaraunt where I genuinely hope they’re still around 50 years from now when I’m elderly. Never change, La Fogata 🫡

Just got here for lunch and went to use the bathroom and of course there are German cockroaches lol. No thank you. It was moving slow, so they know they have them (being treated). Disgusting.

The food was amazing!! No glaze or nothing, it really was.

Delicious, authentic Mexican options, served piping hot! Service was friendly and attentive.

The food here is absolutely amazing! San Jose always had my favorite fajita quesadillas until I came here!! My husband also thoroughly enjoyed their Thursday special burrito! They also accommodated our sons food allergies with no problem or confusion, as is typical at many Mexican restaurants that we've been to. Can't wait to come back! ☺️

We are not local but have to come to Lexington Medical a good bit. Saw this across the street after my appointment today. Food was great, and we had a sweet waitress who treated us to a complimentary dessert! Great service. We will be back.

My first time here and the young lady put chips and salsa on the table with no hello or nothing. My waiter never came back to see if I needed anything. I had to stop him on his way to other tables to ask for things. The food was great! I would go back again.

Birthday gift card I’ve never been to this restaurant before, but I received a gift card for $50 so I decided to try it out today for dinner for my husband and I I placed the order and was supposed to pick it up at 1:30 today which is Sunday the 27th, Well, when I get there, I did have a little difficult trying to go in because I Couldn’t figure out how to go in because I parked in the back so I go in through the back of course I’m not greeted because I’m coming in through the back but I finally find a register in the middle of the room I guess where the kitchen is at and I told a waitress, How do you come in ? She just pointed and she said through the other side, I said OK well, I’m here to pick up an order, a waiter that was by the register said what’s your name? I gave him my name, He looked it up and He said I’ll be a few minutes? So I wasn’t told where to wait or go and I’m just standing there in the way as they’re going through the kitchen, so I decided to sit on a brick flower bed next to I guess the entry where they go get the food. I get on my phone to look on Facebook and I wait about might’ve been 16 minutes or so when I stopped the bus boy and I told him can you check on my food please? I gave him my name The waiter who rang me up looked at me, said how can I help you and I said I’m still waiting on the food, he said it’s right here, I said how was I supposed to know this was my food, I didn’t see it, He said I told you, but you were on your phone, said I was on my phone looking at photos I said, but I wasn’t talking to anyone and I could hear clearly , well by this time two waitresses that worked there of course back him up and they said well I heard him too, I said , I don’t care who heard it. I didn’t hear it and I told him why didn’t you just come to the front and tell me here’s your food or give me my bag in my hand you just Left on the flower bed like I was supposed to know. I never heard him say anything. I never even saw him, if he told me from behind and I didn’t hear him I feel he could’ve come up to the front of me and say, here’s your food and hand it to me not just leave it behind me. I thought that was rude and inconsiderate, was it a big deal not really but my first impression was my last impression Sir Victor m Garcia
