Lizards Thicket has always been one of my favorite deep down southern cooking restaurants, but lately, I feel the food has gotten weaker over time.

My job had orders us all a plate from here. It was bbq, Mac and cheese, Italian green beans, a roll, and banana pudding. It was actually very good. That night I went and sat down and ate at the same restaurant. I order country fried steak and my bf ordered chicken fried steak. Let's just say I ended up with his because I didn't like mine, it was kind of like chewing rubber. The Mac and cheese was off the chain, not soggy or run down it was a great taste!

They are doing a great job adapting to the new social distancing rules for restaurants. We felt safe and everything was clean. Our waitress was working her tail off and was joyful the whole time. Good job.

Great food for the price. My total bill was about $13 and that was with the upcharge for the catfish. I could have made a meal of just the dressing and yams. They were delicious. Place impressed me so much I bought a shirt on my way out.

On this beautiful Saturday morning I went to 2240 airport Blvd West Columbia location and I ordered ToGo and I received the BEST customer service anyone could ask for by Mr. Alexander. He greeted me with soooo much energy it literally gave me more energy then I already had. When I tell you customer service is very important it really is . He is definitely Great at what he does and I would love to take him from you guys and have him work for me however I will not do that because I probably wouldn’t get the energy I need when I need a good meal /laugh ..... you hired a Super Star!!!!!!! I give my visit 10000 thumbs up!!

I have never been to the restaurant; however, they cater our flights (UPS). I had their pulled pork, green beans, and banana pudding. It was delicious! Best catering I've had in the US.

Popular local sit-down eatery. Serves American comfort food (fried chicken and fish, pot roast, liver, etc). They also do great breakfast meals.
