The service was horrible and rude the food was definitely not fresh it's like it was microwaved, or something?Because it was half cold half warm. This is the second time of a horrible experience at this location it sucks because I love to eat at lizard thicket but twice. Once shame on me twice shame on you

Popular for 1 meat-3 veggies. Country fried & Chicken fried steak were enjoy by our little group. The veggies- some better than others. The Collard greens were very good after adding salt and pepper sauce (vinegar), Cabbage also. There was no seasoning (salt/pepper) in the food. The cornbread was a disappointment as others was too dry. However, everyone has their own thoughts on food prep. These are just my thoughts. It is a popular food chain in South Carolina.

I am from NC and every time I come down to visit family we always go to Lizards Thicket. It has always been a great experience until today. We had a wonderful waitress and everything seemed to be going smoothly until the manager screamed at her from across the restaurant. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant changed. Had he allowed her to do her job like she was doing I would have walked away ready to come back next time. But as for now I will NEVER come back. The waitress was clearly rattled and embarrassed at how he was treating her. I don’t know his name but I will have to admit I wanted to take that little short man out back and show him how to treat people especially a young lady that was doing a great job. Everyone should stop going to this company if this is how they treat their employees as well as the disrespect towards the customers that were there. Our waitress was a very sweet young lady with awesome manners and great work ethics. I can’t remember her name but she had dark hair and was wearing glasses. I own a restaurant myself and I would never allow this kind of behavior. Shame on you Lizards Thicket.

That’s my fried catfish breakfast. Lots of choices like hash browns that looked yummy too but I chose grits. It came served with two eggs which were cooked exactly to my liking and biscuit from heaven. I never miss a meal at Lizards Thicket when I am down south!

We endured the following:
1. Waitress mixed up drinks and never brought bread.
2. Unclean silverware.
3. My wife's food was very cold.
4. $2.50 for unsweetened tea. We never received a refill.

This location is horrible!

The food was cold, tasted as it had been sitting for awhile. Then I was asked if I wanted a refill and waitress didn’t come back. Poor service and bad food. Ended up getting sick when I got home.
