My husband and I love to eat at the Luzard Thicket. My daughter and I were in Columbia for the Walk for Peace and stopped in for lunch. She had not been before and let me tell you she cleaned her plate.

Knew going on New Year's Day they would be packed. We got there a little after 11. Got seated within 5 minutes. Food was piping hot, fresh & delicious. The Hwy 1 location in West Columbia is the best!

10/10 had it on New Year’s Day! Absolutely delicious, hot and fresh, amazing customer service. Dinner was served piping hot out of the drive thru! Enjoyed it in the Food Lion parking lot next door! Best wishes in the New Year!

Good food and very friendly wait staff. FYI the biscuits are amazing. They should consider serving them for dinner, the cornbread isn't that great.

Good food just little more expensive. But that is to be expected these days. $$$

Our Sisterhood meets here once a month for breakfast and fellowship. They have a big room in the back that can accommodate a group. The service is always great and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is served hot, fresh, and cooked to order. If you like country cookin' and a friendly smile, this is a great choice with fair prices.
Maybe I can update with pics later.

This is a decent diner food restaurant. Good quality food at a decent price. Service was good and food came out fast and relatively hot.

It's just ok. Bland batter used for the fried flounder. Waitress kept slapping plates down on tables. Just nothing to make me want to come back.

The service was horrible and rude the food was definitely not fresh it's like it was microwaved, or something?Because it was half cold half warm. This is the second time of a horrible experience at this location it sucks because I love to eat at lizard thicket but twice. Once shame on me twice shame on you

Popular for 1 meat-3 veggies. Country fried & Chicken fried steak were enjoy by our little group. The veggies- some better than others. The Collard greens were very good after adding salt and pepper sauce (vinegar), Cabbage also. There was no seasoning (salt/pepper) in the food. The cornbread was a disappointment as others was too dry. However, everyone has their own thoughts on food prep. These are just my thoughts. It is a popular food chain in South Carolina.
