love the (new) new brookland tavern. Easier to park, tons more space, same great shows and staff.
Best spot in Columbia for seeing local and regional music. A legendary name in the area that definitely deserves some attention if you’re looking for live music
Best place to see music in the Columbia area, hands down.
The concert was nice. The venue was in disrepair, but I believe they are working to make it nice.
Def the best place for some love local music!
Personally I’m in the hardcore/heavy crowd but they do have a variety of shows and even comedy and karaoke night weekly! And a wide variety of non alcoholic beverages for those who don’t drink!
I ordered a merch item from a fundraiser they were doing last year before they closed, and a year later I have yet to receive the item. I have gotten the updated emails they have sent out saying "remaining orders will be shipped xx date" etc so I know that my order was received and I was on their list, but I have still yet to receive the order, a year later. I have reached out via responding to their update emails where I was told to text a number. I got a response that they would check, and then ghosted. Next step, I went to facebook. Got a response that they would check on it that day. it is now a month later, and no response. All I want is the shirt that I purchased, or a refund, preferably at this point, a refund.
Had a great time here. Good vibes great music
Great local tavern. Just a nice local hang out. A place to visit with friends.
I just upgraded my review of new Brooklyn Tavern. The new location in Five Points is freaking awesome. There are three bars and if you want to escape the loud music you can go to the downstairs bar and have great conversations. I'm a little nervous about how hot it's going to be during the summer so we'll see what it's like.
A great location with a great staff. It makes for a very intimate experience. Well be looking forward to returning for more shows!

Cool new spot. Nice sound system upstairs. My ears are still ringing! Wearing plugs next time. The show upstairs was pretty active. Downstairs was kinda dead for some reason. Would go again for sure!
Great place to hangout and meet people that have the same music tastes as I do
Fun place to hear live music. The staff is super friendly. The new location has several bars available. Parking was the only thing that was a little challenging...though we eventually found a spot on a nearby street.
Great smaller sized music venue, they have a couple bars inside upstairs and downstairs. Friendly staff and affordable tickets and drinks!
This place was great and still ia... Somewhat... The new menu removed a lot of things that kept us coming back and replaced them with basic, American type foods with a South Korean "spin." The appetizer tower was more like an appetizer tiny two tiered tray. The sausage and rice cake skewers were little more than fried rice cake mush and Lil smokies on a kabob stick. The food was good, and tasted freshly made. Was just disappointed with the changes made.
