This place was great and still ia... Somewhat... The new menu removed a lot of things that kept us coming back and replaced them with basic, American type foods with a South Korean "spin." The appetizer tower was more like an appetizer tiny two tiered tray. The sausage and rice cake skewers were little more than fried rice cake mush and Lil smokies on a kabob stick. The food was good, and tasted freshly made. Was just disappointed with the changes made.

Great people. Fun experience.

This place would be better if they didn’t steal money from their supporters/customers.

It's a downgrade from their old venue location. And I know this isn't technically their fault but I went to their emo/valentines dance night and felt like it was misadvertised. Not much emo music (it was mostly hard-core and other alternative) or dancing, it was more of a concert. Which is cool, but not what I thought it would be. The band also had lots of sound issues.

Great venue, love the new location, except for the parking in five points

They did a great job setting up the new place.

Love new Brooklyn it was one of the few cool places in Columbia but since moving to their new location and how strict they’ve been on being 21+ for the good shows it’s been very disappointing as someone who loved being able to go to most of the shows at their old location

probably won't come back to the new nbt until they work out the kinks. I was spoiled by the chef at the old nbt, and not having food as a feature anymore kinda sucks. bartenders told us to go to bar none for food. hopefully, they'll bring the kitchen back and fix the mic audio. couldn't hear what anyone was singing all night. disappointing but we'll come back in a few months to see what has improved.

I love this venue it's always a great time. It gets pretty hot in there so just be aware. The bartenders are great. My only and biggest complaint is about the guy that runs the sound booth. He is so rude and so aggressive to the people attending the shows. On numerous occasions watched him slam the barricade forward hitting people in the back. Straight up just push people off of that ledge at the back of the building. Personally used his phone to repeatedly hit me on the shoulder to move me out of his way. Everybody else is super cool He's basically the worst, and everyone I spoke to there already knows it apparently.

Great intimate setting for a show. Too bad it's closing down, will miss it!

I Just keft there they gave me greasy food. I specifically told cashier i wanted over well chicken and wing chips. It was greasy could not eat that. I paid 21.00 for quesadilla chicken, soda and wing chips. I need my money back. The chicken quesadilla was greasy too. Nobody wants all that grease. I am highly disappointed.

NBT might not have the most frills or the best sound or the sparkliest lights but it's the most authentic venue (West) Columbia has had. The beer selection is just enough and costs what you'd expect from any other bar. The staff stay out of the way and let artists run the place at every show i've gone to; that's all you can really ask of a place. Truly a community staple.
