I went today to check it out and purchase another betta, I have a betta currently and wanted another and to get one who could use the help. I have fully live planted tanks and food water levels. There fish were in good condition but there bettas were mostly all sick and unhealthy it was depressing and awful to see. Most were ethier flopped on there side or not moving, it was horrible. There was tons of waste in there containers and u could tell the water wasn’t clean. They only change those containers once or twice a week. I decided to get a female named “Sugar plum” pot thing was in HORRIBLE condition she was pretty flopped on her side no color at all,fins were clamped she was ethier sitting flopped on the side or freaking out she looked kkke she was gonna die any day. I decided to take the chance and get her, I am so so glad I did. After 1hour after having her in the clean NICE tank and not horrible water and sitting in her own waste she colored up. She is so happy and is eating bloodworms she still had a little ways to go but I’m praying she keeps improving. I never ever plan to get another betta from there ver again it was DISGUSTING they could even treat an animal that badly. They were worse then other chain stores, I decided to test her water parameters just to see her ph was high and her ammonia was the highest it could be and i immediately screamed when I saw how high that was, it was a 6.0 and it’s supposed to be a 0 I almost started crying knowing she lived in that container in cold dirty water in her own waste. I genuinely don’t know how she is alive. They have way too many bettas and most are half dead sadly. There was maybe 3 that were decent. Out of around 20 or more. It’s CRAZY never ever buying a betta here again. Those poor fish are suffering and mine was pretty much dead I’m so glad I saved her from that!!!
