I got the quesadilla plate which had a beef and cheese quesadilla, a chicken and cheese quesadilla and then a cheese quesadilla. I loved the chicken quesadilla and you can never go wrong with a cheese quesadilla, however, I took one bite of the beef and cheese one and did not like it at all. The flavor was weird and the texture was weird too. To me the beef seemed like it was blended finely instead of just being chopped up. The service wasn’t the best but also wasn’t the worst I’ve had. It seemed like the only time the waiter came back to our table in a timely manner was to get the check from us

Food is your basic order by number menu you get at most table service, chain Mexican restaurants. This is the only San Jose we will eat at and we don't eat here very often anymore. They no longer carry Dos Equis Amber draft anymore. Last couple of times the service was extremely slow. Food mediocre and obviously the food is not authentic.

San Jose will always be a family favorite for me and my husband. Our go-to's are the carne asada, and the classic chicken and cheese quesadilla. Which always turns out amazing. The chips and salsa are a wonderful complimentary side but you can never go wrong with their queso which will always be my favorite. The service is quick and kind, I've never had a problem especially here where the interior decor is just as exciting as the outside. Good for he whole family, not to mention the bar has an incredible selection.
