been coming here for savage salsa Sunday. absolutely love it. food is great, drinks are great. dancefloor is great. staff is very friendly. highly recommend
It’s a great place. But 1.5 Oz pours for 15 dollar cocktails is a little pricey.
Drinks and atmosphere were good. However, it took well over an hour to get our food order (appetizers and all coming out at once). Nothing done by the brewery to apologize for the delay or provide any updates or other remedies. Not sure if this is the norm, but definitely won’t be back for food.
I ordered the burger and the fries, and when the burger came out, it was similar to size of a kids meal. The burger was the size of a slider in a full size bun. For the amount of money that I had spent, I figured I would get a normal size full-size burger. I don’t like the fact that I had to go back inside to get a refill on the drink when I have a waiter bringing my food. The fries were excellent, but of course like the burger. It was a very small amount.
We love the atmosphere but it's incredibly expensive . To put in perspective , we got two drinks and it was 25 bucks . Then we got a burger , steak sandwich and a kids chicken finger was 45 .
Savage Craft is a really cool brewery, arguably the best in Columbia! Now, I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't comment on the quality of their brews. However, my cocktail was pretty good, albeit a little expensive, and their selection of drinks was expansive as compared to other breweries.
The inside of the establishment was decked out with some really cool artwork, and the inside was very spacious, sleek, and modern. My favorite part of Savage Craft was the outside lawn area, which was situated on artificial grass and had a lot of tables that you could sit at. It seems like the perfect place to either grab a drink with friends, or unwind by yourself. Also, I can't wait to bring my dog back in the future!
All-in-all, Savage Craft was a really cool place, and I'll be back in the future!
Depends on the night what you'll get. If it's chilly on a Wednesday and you want a heater, go somewhere else. They'll literally come turn your heater off and take it away. Apparently your money means less on a Wednesday.
Beer is meh. Food is meh. Bartenders are not friendly. Skip this place.
EDIT: The owner replied to the review below with a milk toast ChatGPT reply that doesn’t address any of my main points. Your beers aren’t consistent in their flavor profiles. Really lame.
The brewer here couldn’t make a beer taste consistently the same from batch to batch if his life depended on it.
Seriously, the Carolina light tastes like a weird pale ale (where the taste is really off) one week, and then another week it tastes like a light lager or like the Macroeconomics from Cola Craft.
You guys have a lot going on but your sour beers are way too sweet (🤮), and you don’t even have a basic lager or Pilsner anymore. Big listen in there. That’s the baseline, and you’re not fulfilling it.
You could learn a lot from Columbia Craft brewing. Their beer is consistently the same and exceptional.
Great atmosphere, but it took them an hour and a half to make our food.

Bartender refused service to me and bent my ID in 1/2 because he said that my SC driver’s license was fake. It was a real ID from SCDMV. I then complained to the manager and they said “I’ll serve you a beer” I then asked “what about my bent ID” and he said “oh yeah, you’ll probably want to get that replaced” when it was their bartender who ruined it… no offers to pay for the ID they ruined. No apologies. Just overall felt so gross and rude.
Great view from the top deck!
I got the chicken sandwich. Nearly cost me $18 without a tip. The bread was soggy and The chicken was extremely thin. It was definitely not a good experience. The beer was good. I wouldn’t order the food..
Super nice and great beer
The food was delicious, it took a bit but it was worth it. The bar tenders were very attentive and quick. The only complaint is that it is a little pricey, but it's worth it for a day or night out.
