Great place nice atmosphere and the service & food is very good.. thanks
Confusing for us middle-aged, but in sure it fit perfectly for the millennial people. Order food there, order drinks next door.... eating outside, fighting flies... but like I said the millennial group wouldn't mind.... was a bad sewer lift station smell in the area on the third floor. Savage ribs had no flavor... good idea but needed real flavor... fish tacos was like eating stuffed flour tortillas.... no flavor... nice looking atmosphere though
Nice place! The weather was extremely hot/humid, but overall, the place is nice. Day 1 of the 40th class reunion.

Ordered a cheesecake and it took half an hour to get it
Mediocre, beer reminds me of Conquest Brewery, not that good. Steel Hands is better by far.
July 2025 - we popped in for drinks before a dinner reservation nearby. Our bartender was awesome! Probably the best cosmo I've had in Columbia. My husband loved the beers. We will definitely be back to try the food & other drinks.
Spacious area, great craft beers, and knowledgeable staff!
Our family has been coming here since day one, and it’s hands-down one of our favorite spots in West Columbia. The green space is perfect for the kids to play while we relax and catch up with friends and family. The bartenders even make fun lemonade and tea combos for the kids, which they love. The beer is always cold and flavorful, the food is consistently great, and the staff is friendly and fast. Just an all-around awesome place with a great vibe.
Love it here. A great spot to bring the family with a big open space for the kids to run around. Always clean and the beer and food are always on point. Staff are the best in town and the live music 👌🏼👌🏼
Savage is a fantastic destination for families looking to enjoy a great day out! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this brewery prioritizes a welcoming and kid-friendly atmosphere. The spacious outdoor seating area is perfect for families, featuring plenty of room for kids to play while parents relax with a refreshing craft beer..
The staff at Savage are incredibly friendly and attentive, often going the extra mile to ensure that families feel comfortable and valued. Whether you’re visiting for a casual afternoon or celebrating a special occasion, Savage craft is a wonderful spot where both parents and kids can enjoy quality time together. I highly recommend it for those looking to combine good brews with a family-friendly vibe!

I hate a negative review but the experience we had today was less than “ok”. I haven’t been here in a while, but the drastic change in atmosphere was not expected to say the least.
They promote “fun” but you’re not allowed (or should I say the kids) are not allowed to be on the stage (while no one is performing) they’re not allowed to play cornhole without an adult, they don’t allow sidewalk chalk…so I’d say if you’re looking for a family friendly environment this is NOT it.
As far as the ordering experience goes I was less than impressed. I understand things occur with POS systems and ordering but I went inside to order drinks, was trying to buy food but the bartender said I have to order outside. Ok so get my drinks and drop them at the table then go outside to order food at their little window. The lady there said you already have a tab inside so you have to go inside. Not playing this game. Put my foot down and order food. The family I am with attempted to do the same thing, tried to order outside after my ordering process, told to go inside, told to go outside, and for fun told to go back inside again.
This place must have undergone new management because this is not the family friendly spot we all knew it to be. I would not recommend this brewery to anyone these days. Sad to see
Super cool spot with great drinks and food. The Vale is my new favorite beer. It has an amazing vanilla flavor and aroma. My friend who doesn't like beer even thought it was delicious. She had a few specialty cocktails she let me taste. They were absolutely delicious! We stayed for dinner and I can't believe we'd never eaten here before! I had the lobster roll and the grilled salad. I could eat that salad everyday! The grilled watermelon on top went so well with the herby veggies. The lobster roll was out of this world. The focaccia roll was a great twist on the traditional lobster roll. It was so good my friend's husband had to order his own after he finished his salad! I can't wait to go back!
The food was delicious....the service was good and there is an outdoor area where children can play.
Savage Craft Brewery has amazing staff—everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The location is great, and the brewery is nicely laid out with a cool atmosphere and a solid drink menu.
However, there are a few things that take away from the experience. The lack of a clear child policy is a big one. Every time I visit, there are unsupervised kids running around, climbing on the stage, and throwing ice—completely disrupting the vibe. Just because there’s turf doesn’t mean it’s a playground. I really think a no-children policy after 9 PM would help preserve the atmosphere.
Also, the food is consistently disappointing. They often run out, and when it is available, it tends to look sloppy or arrives cold. It just doesn’t match the quality of the drinks or the venue itself.
There’s definitely potential here, and the staff is wonderful, but a few policy and quality improvements would go a long way.
Hands down the best brewery EVER, experience met every need I was looking for.
