State Street Pub willingly hosted a fundraiser on August 22, 2024 for antisemitic organization Operation Olive Branch. When they say ‘From the River to the Sea’ they are calling for the elimination of the state of Israel. Antisemitism isn’t cool. It isn’t punk. It’s vile and should be condemned in it’s entirety.
Call them out on their hate by not patronizing this venue.

I was unfortunately manhandled. I am 48 year old woman I only wanted to play pool and have a few drinks and I did not realize this was a “and “private club. In the heart of West Columbia why would you have a private club here? It makes no sense. Why would you not want my American dollars I was desperate enough to want to play pool that I begged or I don’t know what the word is someone to play with me I actually take the arts of pool playing or skill playing however I was just hoping you have someone somewhere not someone somewhere to play pool. I did not think this should be a private situation anyway I at this point and finished writing this review because it’s a very sad situation that you cannot go on this street in the heart of West Columbia and do what you want to without being saying you need to private club membership the end

Don't waste your time going in there, the place is a dump. The pool tables are the same tables from the 1960s. The bathrooms, bar, inside building has never been upgraded and probably never will.
The late night bartender with long hair always has an attitude with everyone. The bouncer with no hair is straight racist and just like the long hair bartender extremely inappropriate.
They scammed people into buying a membership but never upgrade the building and pretend their bar is like Savage....which is not even close.....
No one thought that Newbrokland Tavern would ever leave that area but they did. State Street is next especially with those two working there. Long hair bartender and dumb no hair bouncer if you hate your job that bad find another job!
