My partner and I just left this restaurant and I wanted to share our experience because we were looking forward to this and we left very disappointed. I want to start out by saying this was not a horrible experience, the atmosphere and ambience was very romantic and relaxing and the wine was exceptional, what was lacking was in the food and service. I had the scallops and he had the pork chop, all i could taste was salt in my food and his pork chop was unevenly cooked with parts...
Nice Columbia restaurant. I've only been here a handful of times over the past ten years, but I've not been disappointed. The service is excellent. The drink selection is excellent. The food is great. If your are an amari fan, this place has a good selection - possibly the best I've found in the city. This is not a weekly date place for us (due to the price), but it fits the bill for an occasional special date option
Got the eggplant dish tonite and although it was ok, it was a little salty and served warm, not hot.. That I could handle… the problem was the portion! Very small. Literally 4 bites… myself and another guest with us had the same and hers was just as small. Personally I didn’t think the quality and portion reflected the price…. thankfully we had a small basket of bread that wasn’t much more than a couple small bites each for the 4 of us. I did get an extra basket but...
