My wife asked me to bring her a smoothie when I met her at our church's VBS tonight. With only 30 minutes between leaving work and VBS, I thought of the Tropical Smoothie app and downloaded it. I was able to order and pay from work, set a pickup time, and have the smoothie ready to take way as soon as I walked in. Great Job, Tropical Smoothie Cafe!

Appalling customer service. The staff clearly hated being there — rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Not once did they say thank you for tipping as if they were entitled to it, or “you’re welcome” or anything. Lacked basic manners learned in pre-school. Knew nothing about the menu and refused to give suggestions when asked. Worse, they yelled at customers who were simply filming their own friends — a polite reminder would’ve been enough, but instead, they chose aggression. Out of every Tropical Smoothie Cafe I’ve visited across the country, this was hands down the worst experience. Absolutely unacceptable.

I usually go to one on Harbison Blvd, I was in West Columbia so I stopped at that location. I ordered a Cesar Wrap with no Parmesan Crisps; I obviously got someone else’s order because it had everything I didn’t ask for.

I love tropical smoothie! They're always good, but I have to say the biggest disappointment is the discontinuation of the red sangria smoothie 😭 I got it almost every day when they had it. The pomegranate plunge is my new favorite but nothing will ever compare the red sangria 💔

I come to this location frequently & have always loved the manager here. I’m not sure what her name is- but, I went in this morning with my 4 month old son & as soon as I left, my smoothie busted in the parking lot. The manager didn’t hesitate to remake my smoothie & interacted with my baby!! Anytime I see her, she is hard at work & always has a good attitude!!! Thank you, thank you!!!
The service was very good after we got to the register. Attentive and polite to guests. We received our order in a timely manner and I noticed their team was able to handle high volume of guests with efficiency and ease. I tried this bowl for the first time and it was delicious. That is coming from a burger/fries with extra sauce kinda of consumer. #delicious #treats

I LOVE TROPICAL SMOOTHIE! I'M A LOYAL CUSTOMER! I was spending the day with my friend and her baby and we came by here to get smoothies. The staff greeted us and smiled. It was all women and they we're black. I'm black and I appreciate seeing other black girls. 😍🤎👏 The employee Shanice was SO HELPFUL AND SWEET. I left her a tip. SHE DESERVED IT. I got my usual. Acai berry boost and I scanned my app and paid and got my points. This was my FIRST time over here at this location and I wanna come back. Shanice was so nice! Thank you Tropical Smoothie in West Columbia. 😍😋🤗

It seems they are more interested in speaking to each other than they are at interacting with their guests. It seems that you are a burden to them by coming in and spending money with them. There are two employees that this does not apply to. Those two have always been kind and helpful. The rest of the team has a lot to learn about customer service. Great smoothie! Terrible service.
