I don't love Mexican food and this place is consistently good. Fresh guacamole is a favorite. Salsa bar with fresh chips is great. Margaritas are on point with a nice happy hour. Haven't had a bad meal and has a comfortable atmosphere.

El Charro never fail to warmly welcome you, and make you feel like a valued patron. I got the enchiladas pictured for around nine and a half dollars. In my opinion, this is a pretty good value. The food tastes great and wasn't a long wait, either. So if you're in a rush or on a budget, I say go and enjoy.

This is the most American Mexican restaurant that I've ever been to. The salsa bar is a good concept, but mediocre salsas. The salsa verde and mango salsas were the only ones worth going back for. I got a beef burrito that was very average. More time was spent on the rice presentation than ensuring the quality of food. The best food was the atypical choices. The pork burrito and onion rings weren't bad. The service was pretty good. There are better options 20 minutes down the road, so I can't recommend coming here.

I was happy to have an omelet. Basically a fajita wrapped in egg. Was delicious.
The food is usually great we get the ACP or fajitas or burritos plates. Sometimes the servers are a little lacking. Nice atmosphere the music could be turned down a little.

I grew up in Westminster and currently live in Texas where one can find legendary TexMex. So imagine how surprised I was when I ate El Charro. It was an excellent meal and very reasonably priced. I had the carne asada. The meat was very tender, the sides excellent and the meal was well presented! My only disappointment was the quality of the salsa. Very bland, but they probably make it to satisfy the locals.

In town for Bigfoot festival. Walk around for a few and then headed inside to eat. Had some drinks and food. It was awesome. Place was packed and busy. Lots of people were walking around and taking care of the diners. Great place.
