“Decent Barbecue in a very scenic area. I should note that the South Carolina mustard sauce here is different from anything else I have tasted. First it is brown and is very sweet. It also has a bit of a vinegar flavor with the mustard. I am personally not a big fan of very sweet sauces, however, if that is up your alley this is the place. The Pulled pork doesn't come chopped much, so you will likely need to pull it. The pork is also had a lot of fat that wasn't fully rendered. I should also mention the portions are massive and will likely be enough for 2 meals which is great! Overall, worth a road trip for the entire experience!”
“If you love home cooking.. you have to come to Yousefs. The food is DELICIOUS. The waitstaff is excellent! It is cafeteria style, or you can order off the menu. Some of the best fried chicken I've eaten. The atmosphere is family home style and very welcoming.”
“I don't love Mexican food and this place is consistently good. Fresh guacamole is a favorite. Salsa bar with fresh chips is great. Margaritas are on point with a nice happy hour. Haven't had a bad meal and has a comfortable atmosphere.”
“I got the shrimp fajita quesadilla that was very good. My husband got the coctel campechano. It’s a cold soup with shrimp, oysters and octopus. He loved it! Our waiter, Julian, was very pleasant. We will definitely eat here again the next time we pass through.”
“Good morning is said to you when greeted for breakfast ?. Friendly country atmosphere with the touch of neighborly smiles. I strongly recommend that you give this little "family" restaurant a visit and feel at home and enjoy the great food ? ? ? ?. I almost forgot that there is a great menu to choose from and substituting items is not an issue.”
“Probably the best food in Westminster that isn't Mexican. The only reason I didn't give five stars on atmosphere is because the place is usually extremely busy and short staffed so sometimes they may not answer the phone, or have limited seating. But you can't beat the taste or value. Try a birddog. You won't regret it.”
“What I love the most about Eva's besides the level of nostalgia that hits me everytime I walk through the door is the balance between breakfast and lunch. Most places, one of these choices is the better option. Here, both are equally amazing. Check 'em out. Sometimes the waitstaff get pretty busy, but be patient with them; you won't find a genuinely kinder waitstaff. You can ask your food be plated in a to-go container to save time if you wish. Food pictured: Turkey and dressing with cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, carrots, and peach cobbler. And fried chicken with macaroni and cheese, brown gravy over mashed potatoes, and chocolate whipped cream pie. And rolls.Kid-friendliness: Some coloring books”
“Good solid breakfast place. I got a country ham platter with grits and a biscuit. The country ham was a nice big thin slice cooked great and tasted wonderful. The eggs were just like I wanted and the only thing that kept it from being a 5 star were the grits. They were a tad soupy. You order at the counter, get your own drink and silverware, grab a seat and they bring the food to you. I was there about 6:30 and they weren't too busy so my food was up fast. They were efficient and the food was overall good. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would.”
“I am very happy with customer service, they are always helpful and respectful to the customers. They will never be a time with them that I don’t feel uncomfortable or disrespectful or upset about an order. Always top tier!!!! ?”
“I like Hardee's food. Prices are getting too high though. Locally, Westminster's was the best, now not so much. I walked in and ordered a breakfast platter. I was the only person at the counter. The person taking my order spoke out my order to the preparer. Two others came in. They were served. Once again, the preparer was told of my order. Another person came in and was served. Again, they were told of my order. The preparer in the back pointed to his screen looking puzzled. The person who took my order then went to the back and prepared my breakfast platter. I worked in food service for many years in the past and am very familiar with their procedures. My order obviously did not show up on the preparer's screen, or in an effort to not appear slow, it was cleared from the screen, possibly by someone else. Fast food franchises are scored for efficiency by the amount of time the order stays on the preparers screen. One button push clears the oldest, (top), order. It is somewhat normal for the preparers to quickly look at the screen, press the button to clear the order, THEN prepare the food. This makes corporate believe that they have very fast service. If the button is pressed without everyone being aware, the preparer simply doesn't see it. Management is VERY aware of this practice. I know for a fact it happens in multiple local fast food restaurants. As a paying customer, I deserve my meal correct, hot, and on time. Very poor business practice folks. All that said, the gentleman who took my order was polite, on point, and followed up to ensure I was taken care of. He was great.”
“THIS owner needs to teach OTHER owners how to make a burger. We haven't had a Whopper this good at a BK in over 30 years! I had 3 pickles on a Whopper with cheese; we usually get 1 from other stores. Even the kids' meal burger had them! Everything was fresh and generous and flavorful.”
“Service was great.wife had the salmon I don’t eat fish but I actually liked the salmon I had the porterhouse for 60 bucks had very little seasoning a below average steak at ”
“Great service, relaxing atmosphere, perfect location. Loved the flexibility (chicken vs steak, provolone vs american, mushrooms vs onions, etc.). Would have had a 5 star if there was more variety of bread selection (would have loved a wheat) and if they would have served the sub sliced in half to manage the ooey, gooey goodness!”
“I love hole in the wall places verses chain restaurants! This a must stop restaurant if you are passing through.Connie was super friendly to our family. The food was well priced and delicious. Best wings that I’ve had in a long time. I also recommend their chicken bacon ranch sandwich.Atmosphere might be a bit unwelcoming at first to families with small children but you’ve got to appreciate the uniqueness of a backwoods restaurant. My family of 4 had a great visit.”
“Only been for breakfast so far. Good service, accommodating. Food portions generous, and tasty. Have already been twice since up that way.And---- one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen lately in a restaurant.Do recommend.”
“Cozy space, fantastic service. Tasty food & wine. Our server Noah was great. 3 of us shared the lovely (large) charcuterie board, along with a bottle of Italian pinot grigio & the Pinot Parfait wine flight. An additional cabernet I tried to order had been replaced with a different one I was unfamiliar with. So Noah generously offered to bring me a tasting of it before I ordered. Love this place and the adjacent wine shop.”
“I love this place! The coffee is amazing, and so is the staff. Once, the staff closed early for no reason. I had driven across town to get coffee, and I was so sad to see they closed early. Two other people tried getting coffee, and were disappointed too. HOWEVER, the owner made it 100% better by putting points on my account. I am HIGHLY satisfied by the place, and I’m glad that they are always making the customer happy. I will always be going back!”
“Finally! A place that offers a half sandwich. This is great if you can't eat a large sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't find that out until after I had ordered and sat down and the lady came around and asked if everything was okay. Tea, water and lemonade are complementary. That's very nice. This place is very small. But they do have outside seating. It's very nice in the spring and early summer.”
“We went to a couple ice cream shops while vacationing in SC and this one was the best! There were around 60 different flavors and I was thrilled to see vegan options. As someone that is lactose intolerant, this made my day! The flavors were amazing!”
“I've only been in here a couple of times but the staff is always friendly. I got whole bean coffee which was good. I checked out the craft beer selection and it too was good and the prices in line with other shops of this nature. Plus they have mead which put them over the top for me. They also have some wine but that's not my thing so no judgement on that. I'm going to plan a trip to sample the food and draft beer in the near future.”
“First time at this restaurant. I had a bbq sandwich plate with mac and cheese and sweet potato crunch. It tasted amazing. The sweet potatoes were like candy and so good. I tried the "sweet" bbq sauce. I would buy a whole bottle of it. Ill definitly be back and im bringing ”
“Triple D's is a excellent place to go hang out with friends. It's safe , the owners are always walking around talking to customers and making sure everyone is having a good time. The bonfire out front gives you a place to go talk and hangout also. It's clean ,laid back , affordable, and safe with plenty of parking. I highly recommend it for single women just wanting a safe , relaxing place with great music and pool tables just to hang out with your girlfriends.”
“Googled things to do in town while we were visiting for the weekend, and this place did not disappoint. Great food, great service, great price. Des, Kelly, Phoenix Were all super great, karaoke was a blast.”
“We didn’t know it was a flash freeze place, but it is fyi. The ice cream was delicious, toppings were plentiful, wait time wasn’t bad, and the owner was super friendly and great with my toddler who loved all the nitrogen gas. It was a little pricey, but honestly not much different than anywhere else. We both two mediums for $15, and it was plenty. I don’t think we’d have gotten more anywhere else. We also walked in at closing thinking they closed later and the owner wasn’t worried about at all - super friendly.Kid-friendliness: My toddler loved the process and the owner had fun with him.”
“By far my favorite restaurant in the area. Hands down. Quality in every ingredient. The kimchi is the best I have ever had. I cannot say enough great things about this place. I'm bringing my family for my birthday meal coming up and going to try the Taste of Seoul. A very nicely set up space as well.”
“We live just down the road and always stop here when the weather gets nice! Very attentive staff and delicious food. This time got the pineapple chicken. Delicious and light meal with special fruit drinks they have. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Presentation of the food has always been so pretty you hate to eat it. My sister won't get a taco salad from anywhere else now.Parking: Large gravel lot with tons of space even for larger vehicles. There are campers here often.Kid-friendliness: Open airy eating under a covered roof makes it feel like a picnic. Kids menu has hot dogs and other items kids like.”
“I've been twice and both times were very enjoyable. It's a quaint little coffee shop that's sure to satisfy about any appetite. My only criticism would be that the person taking our order didn't include 2 requests for water.Parking: It really depends on when you go as it's smack dab in the middle of downtown. If you're okay walking a block then there's usually plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely but not sure if there's a kid menu as we had a big kid with us who ate like an adult.Wheelchair accessibility: No personal experience, but there are couches and little seating areas that appear to be able to accommodate people with walking challenges.”
“Love Peace of Pie!Nick is always trying to change things up to give people a new experience on a different twist to pizza’s and appetizers. The hamburgers are amazing. If you in the area stop by grab a bit and say Hi!”
“Appellation Wine Bar offers an exquisite wine and charcuterie experience in a beautifully designed and welcoming atmosphere. During my recent visit, the owner expertly crafted a tailored wine flight for me based on my preference; demonstrating his impressive knowledge and passion for wine. Guests around us were clearly having an enjoyable time, especially when participating in the popular Wall of Wine game that creates such a fun and lively ambiance. Between the delicious and beautiful charcuterie, fantastic wine selection, comfortable environment, and friendly service, Appellation is one of my favorite local spots for a special night out and my husband and I will make this a regular date night destination! Thank you Appellation Wine Bar! ?❤️”
“Very nice place! I recommend the hotdogs. They were great. This place is also a vacation spot for Jelly Belly jelly beans fans. Many bagged varieties as well as many flavors or groups of flavors available by weight. You could even mix and match to your liking. If you have any room left this place is also ice cream heaven. Many great flavors that also change from time to time. Everything from a single scoop to chocolate sundaes, and if you dare... the Sasquatch Banana Split. Yup, I'm gonna have to go back. I'm positive that I'm leaving things out. Go by and check them out. You won't be sorry.”
