“Haven't been but will be in the area soon and will make it a point. The reviews are worthy of a visit but the response from the owner about Orkin having recently been onsite in response to another review is enough for me....owner seems like the kind of person I like to do business with. Could not handle a troll any better....exactly the kind of business everyone should make a point of supporting! After reading more reviews and the owners responses I may make a special trip to the area just to eat here LOL. Running a small business is danged difficult and the business soon becomes akin to a family member...one you like, not that crazy uncle you can't stand. In this part of the world when someone insults a loved one you take them to task for having done so....I would bet money had the few negative review posters talked to the staff their issues would have been resolved....its obvious the owner cares about the business, which is not always the case. Absolutely the kind of business consumers ought to support. Restaurants in particular have hit and miss days....but when the owner cares as much as this owner obviously does usually the hits far outnumber the misses.”
“The Subway right off exit 11 85 North was very nice. The associates was pleasant and helpful. They explained the process of the App and earning Subway points.”
“Smoked chicken was perfection with the OG and Natty sauces. Apple pie pit beans are a whimsical take on baked beans that hit the spot. Very nice young man eager to serve and professional. Check out his food truck !”
“The food here was amazing. The sushi burrito was devoured by myself and my wife. My son slurped down the ramen (noodle soup he calls it). Everything was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend!”
“What a surprise?! This place is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere: the food is delicious AND cheap + they have plenty of options (even gluten free). Staff is very kind but service can be a little bit slow when it gets crowded! So make sure to get there before the lunch rush!”
“Unfortunately this isn't a review of the food a Vangelis. This is a critique of the menu choices. The only non redmeat option is salmon. Who ever heard of a menu without chicken. You can get grilled chicken with salad, but there isn't a chicken entree. Are they trying to be a steakhouse? We canceled reservations because of their lack of options. I know it's not my restaurant, but take a lesson from the Dimas Bros, have an option for everyone. You can delete this if you don't agree.”
“This is my absolute favorite BBQ place! The food and service are always great! We stopped for dinner after the Clemson spring game. The wait was very short and the beer was good. There were a couple of issues with our food. Our order somehow got lost between the computer and the kitchen but it was fixed immediately. Then there were a couple of issues with things in our sides and in our sons hotdog but the manager went above and beyond to make it right. It was far from the typical experience with the food issues but the waitress and manager made everything right and really took care of our family! We will absolutely be back!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of corn hole boards and putt-putt for the kids”
“All of the food was super delicious and the best part was the FRIES, they were perfect! crispy on the outside , soft and tender in the middle.4 picky children were all happy!”
“Smith Farm Supply had our annual Grower’s meeting here. The food and service were fantastic. They accommodated our large crowd (30+) with southern hospitality. We were gifted a sampler lunch by a wonderful customer of ours, Premier Fencing. Everything on the sampler was amazing. The people and the food are always so good to us. We order lunch there about once a month. The turkey is probably the best turkey that I have ever eaten. The ribs were perfectly cooked and delicious. The smoked sausage had the perfect amount of heat. All of the meat selections were so decadent that no sauce was needed. The cheesy taters and the sweet potatoes are on point.”
“Choose your own everything! Pick a size and crust material, any or no sauce, then load on any number of items. All for 1 fixed cost.I usually get the personal size, regular crust, olive oil, green pepper and double ham. This gets popped into a super hot brick oven and 3-4 minutes later you're eating!"Make it a meal" adds on a drink (unlimited refills while you're there) and either a packaged salad or 2 scoops of gelato (you can mix & match gelato flavors) for about $5Plenty of seats and outdoor options on the lake, with a corn hole game for your (short) wait. We go several times a month, have the mobile app and earn a small pizza at least 1x each month. The only thing I don't like is the parking. It's in a garage and sometimes the spots fill near the entrance and you have to walk a good ways from your car. If you can get one of the very few spots outside, they are all better spots.”
“Today's visit was great! Alyssa was out server and she was so great. Friendly, professional, and curious. She has a great attitude.Food was again great, wife had steak bake potatoe and salad. The Saturday are always great!I had the promo, smash burger, tater tots and salad. Great desk and did was great!”
“The bird box Stromboli is off the chain! I am very picky & honestly don’t like many people’s Stromboli but they nailed it. Had pizza too which was good but that Stromboli I will definitely be back for.”
“This is a cute coffee shop and a great place to get work done. While it has pretty solid coffee and a comfortable space, the thing I love is the food. There are several food items here that are incredible! Me and my friends call the cinnamon rolls ‘life changing’ and we aren’t joking. They have this wonderful caramel sauce on them which goes nicely with the flavor. The savory scones are great as well!”
“The food at Las Margaritas is very good (although I am disappointed that they don't serve Albondigas soup, a staple at all great Mexican restaurants in Southern California), and the servings are large! Service is very good, staff are cheerful AND polite. The atmosphere is not the best, but it's clean!”
“By far my favorite restaurant in the area. Hands down. Quality in every ingredient. The kimchi is the best I have ever had. I cannot say enough great things about this place. I'm bringing my family for my birthday meal coming up and going to try the Taste of Seoul. A very nicely set up space as well.”
“Cozy space, fantastic service. Tasty food & wine. Our server Noah was great. 3 of us shared the lovely (large) charcuterie board, along with a bottle of Italian pinot grigio & the Pinot Parfait wine flight. An additional cabernet I tried to order had been replaced with a different one I was unfamiliar with. So Noah generously offered to bring me a tasting of it before I ordered. Love this place and the adjacent wine shop.”
“Armageddon, Beignet's, cheese grits, oh my! Great breakfast spot. Our Air BnB had Dimas Brothers on their list for breakfast, and we are so glad we went! Huge portions and the best grits ever! I didn't have to put anything in them, no salt, pepper, or butter! They were perfect! Even my wife, who never eats more than a bite, ate half of my grits! The Armageddon was awesome, and so tasty! The Beignet's were light, airy, and delicious. Our server, Heather B. Was super nice and very attentive, and her service was impeccable! If we are ever in the area, we will definitely be back!Thank you, Dimas Brothers!”
“Best pizza in the upstate SC area(haven’t been here that long to try everything). Staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful with the choice. Margherita pizza is as good of a pie as I’ve had south of the Mason Dixon line”
“Finally! A place that offers a half sandwich. This is great if you can't eat a large sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't find that out until after I had ordered and sat down and the lady came around and asked if everything was okay. Tea, water and lemonade are complementary. That's very nice. This place is very small. But they do have outside seating. It's very nice in the spring and early summer.”
“One of the most awesome bakery around. If you are making the trip from GA to South Carolina take a trip to the bakery located in this little sleepy town.Another story of where southerner ventured nothing and captured the heart of a cute little Yankee gal married and 22 yrs later there thy are.A small bakery filled to the brim of fresh baked breads, cookies, and sandwiches. I ate lunch there and got the Rueben made by the delicate hands of a young lady with the body of a young French model.Recommend that the home made cheese cake be ready to eat with an added choice of plain or fruit compote. The Rueben was good but should recommend that the dressing be added in a cup on the side.”
“My sweet parents took myself and my husband here to celebrate my birthday, recently. We loved the whole experience! We sat by a scenic window and the food was delicious! Fresh and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the prime rib! Prices were kind, too! The service was excellent and everybody there was very attentive and nice. They acknowledge you while you’re there and make sure that you have everything that you need. Looking forward to my next trip to South Carolina to visit my parents and to eat at The Galley Restaurant!!!”
“The brewery really had some great beer and I loved that they offered a flight of beer! The atmosphere was awesome and the band was great! The food good definitely use some improving! Taste of the burgers was just so so. The pretzel was very tasty.”
“I love this place! The coffee is amazing, and so is the staff. Once, the staff closed early for no reason. I had driven across town to get coffee, and I was so sad to see they closed early. Two other people tried getting coffee, and were disappointed too. HOWEVER, the owner made it 100% better by putting points on my account. I am HIGHLY satisfied by the place, and I’m glad that they are always making the customer happy. I will always be going back!”
“We learned about this place as my fiancé had a lovely conversation with someone in the plane that gave us a whole list of places to explore and he said we MUST try Clemson ice cream. I'm so happy we did and so are the kids. I love the concept of students being involved with this ice cream shop and having fun twists on the flavors. Service was great and friendly! You immediately smell the sweetness and waffle cones. I loved my ice cream and the kids loved their strawberry flavor and cookies and cream flavor. Parking definitely was very tricky to get to this place but so worth it.”
“I've been there once my boyfriend and I. It was the best fried chicken I've ever had. We asked for salt and pepper the waitress said I can bring you some but taste it first. Omg obviously we didn't need any. They have the best food I only wish we old people got up in time to go. I'm still waiting on some livers and gizzards. Everything was delicious.”
“The staff are very nice and quick. The ice cream is some of the best I've ever tried, and they have some absolutely adorable decorations. They are a great place to try if you want to take the family out or a date they will make sure you have a lovely evening.Vegetarian options: Deserts with no cremeParking: Kinda cramped but overall easy to park and get outKid-friendliness: They have a great kids selection and ice cream is always a youngins favorite snackWheelchair accessibility: Ramps in the concrete not far at all from the store”
“Good selection of in-house brews and the Reuben sandwich was good...Saturday p.m. became busy. Beers are pricey; need to be because of S.C.'s alcoholic beverage insurance laws.”
“This was our fifth visit to Monte Alban. It has become our favorite restaurant. The service was outstanding! We had five different people stop by our table to ask if we needed more chips. The food is probably the best Mexican food that we have tried…and we have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in this and neighboring states. I would like to thank Enrique and his staff for allowing me to practice my Spanish there. They have been very understanding and accommodating. ¡Este es nuestro restaurante favorito!”
“I've only been in here a couple of times but the staff is always friendly. I got whole bean coffee which was good. I checked out the craft beer selection and it too was good and the prices in line with other shops of this nature. Plus they have mead which put them over the top for me. They also have some wine but that's not my thing so no judgement on that. I'm going to plan a trip to sample the food and draft beer in the near future.”
“Enjoy this place and enjoy playing pool there also. The bartenders are exceptionally nice, and I managed to keep the pool table for 6 straight games. I rarely visit but when I do I enjoy myself every time!”
