We reserved the private room and planned a simple menu for our family Christmas gathering. These folks know how to make you feel special and welcome. We plan to return to the scene of the feast again this year.

Great place for breakfast if you’re ok with getting your own coffee sugar drinks. Don’t mind getting of your chair like I did a few times. Otherwise the food is great and people were very nice.

The cheeseburger melted in my mouth!!! I am so glad I decided to add the homemade pimento cheese to it. The tomato was the best I have had in quite some time. Both of my boys had the kids chicken finger plate. Just like the tomato on my burger, The chicken was definitely the best I have had for as far back as I can remember. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly! When we finished, my kids wanted to check out the fish tank, they absolutely loved this part of our visit to The Farm Cafe. We will definitely be back ?

Perfect spot to get a good breakfast or lunch plate. They have the sweetest waitresses and great food. For lunch My husband ordered a cheeseburger plate all the way. The patty alone will fill you up. Good eatin’

Do not come here expecting atmosphere but the food is really good and the staff is friendly. I had the Western Omelet with hash brown potatoes ($9.40) and she had the Ham and Cheese Omelet ($8.20) with grits. Shay was personable and very informative. She gave us the names of a couple of other local places.

On Thursday morning, I called to ask when breakfast ended as my husband, mom and I were coming from Walhalla. The lady answered and told us it ended at 11. Coming from a pretty far town, we checked our GPS and had enough time to get there for breakfast. Perfect, right? So we drove to the middle of nowhere to the Farm Cafe. We arrive at 10:42, I know this because I checked my phone as we were intent on getting there for breakfast. We seat ourselves and look over the menu.A few minutes pass and the waitress comes over to take our drink orders. I order a chocolate milk, and my husband and mom order coffees. Typical breakfast beverages, right? So at this point, we already have our orders decided and are just waiting for the lady to come back with our drinks. At exactly 10:45 she returns with them, and suddenly a lady from the kitchen yells that breakfast is now over. Like a freaking comedy special, our waitress slaps her knee and tells us “well, that was it! We’re only serving lunch now.” It felt as if the announcement from the kitchen was geared at us considering everyone else in the cafe had already eaten as their plates were finished. It ALSO felt like our server had purposely waited until 10:45 to come back to our table to avoid another breakfast order. We tell her we came for breakfast and she just kind of stares at us. I tell her I even called to confirm when breakfast ended and she nods and states she knew and that the girl who told me this was unaware that breakfast actually ended at 10:45. So she was aware that an employee gave a caller the wrong information. She could have called back to clarify. She could have told us this before taking our drink orders. I mean, excellent customer service would have meant explaining the mishap but honoring a breakfast order this one time considering this was THEIR fault. Are the eggs and pancake batter locked in a timed vault? I called to freaking clarify and they gave me false info before we even made the hike over here! Wasted our time and gas!Instead, she does none of that! She just takes her pen out to take our lunch orders! What the heck kind of customer service is that? Not apologetic. Not looking to better our experience. I doubt this cafe can shrug away potential business but that’s exactly what this lady did.Appalling service. Obviously we left to go to a different diner that served breakfast. Who wants to have chicken nuggets at 11am with coffee? I will never be back. I appreciate the owner reaching out to this review but we drove 45 minutes to come here for breakfast and your staff blew it. They had many opportunities in that moment to make it right but they chose to do nothing. That tells me everything I need to know about your establishment.

Drove here for a nice breakfast at 10:45 after being told on the phone that breakfast was served until 11. Was served my coffee in a styrofoam cup after being told they had no cups and then was told breakfast just ended and that the new girl on the phone gave me the wrong info. Got up and left and will never be back.
