The Café on Main is a charming small-town diner that offers a delightful dining experience. Located in the historic district of Whitmire, South Carolina, this establishment is known for its fresh, homemade dishes and friendly service.
The decor is simple yet clean, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. The menu features a variety of classic breakfast items, including fluffy biscuits, perfectly cooked eggs, and a standout bologna, egg, and cheese sandwich. The grits, described as "piping hot and stand on the spoon just right," are a particular highlight. For lunch, the hand-pattied burger, tender popcorn chicken, and juicy flounder are all highly praised.
Customers appreciate the attentive and personable staff, who go out of their way to make guests, especially children, feel valued.
