“Hopefully some kudos for the HWY81 staff to feel good about what they produce, this week.

My wife and I have been eating Smoking Pig since we lived in Pendleton in 2012. We've now moved to Charleston but still make it part of our stop to get some brisket from you guys whenever we visit family.

The flavor still competes with the BBQ we have access to down in the Low Country like Lewis and Rodney Scotts.

Always flavorful, always consistent. Thank you 😊

“when you first walk in the door, you're greeted with the aroma of real smoked bbq. The atmosphere is simple, yet inviting. The sounds of the cleavers hitting the cutting board lets you know you're in the right place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And the food. The BBQ is perfectly tender with the right amount of bark mixed in. I got the potato salad and baked beans, which were very flavorful. If you're looking for the best, look no further than here. Mr. Preston is doing it right.“

“I loved the Savannah Strawberry Chicken Salad - with raspberry vinaigrette dressing on the side. I will be returning for this dish for sure. Have to view the back of the menu to see it. We live nearby and had hamburgers, cornbread salad, and brisket. All were delicious. Great sauces for the meat. I would like to say from other reviews - that if you wanted more on the hamburger - let the staff know and they will make sure you are taken care of. Oh and the cornbread that day had jalapenos in it. They change the cornbread every now and then.“
