Update: Since the Aberdeen store has been bought the quality of food and service has gone down hill. Original comment: I have been hoping they would turn it around over time, but so far I have not seen any improvement.... When they first opened they had some issues but management has really turned this place around and made it a great place to eat

Ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday. Was supposed to be cheesecake flavored with a picture on it. When I went to pick it up, it took them over 15 minutes to get it, and when I received the cake it was all wrong. Regular vanilla and chocolate blizzard, no picture on it, and the writing looked like a 12 year old did it.

On the past two visits, they have been out of essential ingredients for the blizzards. The ones we did get were barely mixed. The Groton DG is a bit out of the way but we may be going there instead!

I ordered an ice cream cake. It was completely wrong. Was told several times that the cake would be fixed. It’s still not fixed. Asked for a refund just to get hung up on. So as of now.. 0 cake.. out $45… no apology of any sort. First 2 photos are what I received, the 3rd photo is what the cake was supposed to be but yellow instead of pink.

absolutely ridiculous dealing with this DQ! can't get anyone on the phone or to give a name just keep saying to wait to have "the boss" and maybe some coupons in a week or two!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE don't waste your time! There is no customer service at the Aberdeen SD location what-so-EVER! They should be absolutely embarrassed of this kind of "service" if you can call it that. Even after having to return 3 times!! still have not received one apology or ANYTHING! ONLY LEAVING 1 STAR CAUSE I HAVE TO SO THIS CAN BE POSTED!

NEGATIVE STARS if I could that’s what I’d pick. I never thought an ice cream cake for a three year old birthday party would be this difficult but apparently for the workers here it’s impossible. My friend simply made an order online and it’s been nothing but a head ache . Three days of no answered calls, no apologies , and a messed up cake. We had to drive into town several times and keep getting the run around. First it was ready then it’s not , then we get hung up on. JUST GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK !!!! I’d rather deal with a Walmart cake at this point. Not to mention the grossness of the store when we had to go in. Food probably isn’t sanitary at this point. I’m disgusted and now we’re out 50$ no call back and no cake!

It is sad how bad the staff is at this location. You have a couple of people working the rest standing around while cars are wrapped around the building and people are standing inside trying to get food. The personal appearance of most the staff does not project cleanliness either. It should not ever take 30 mins to get a blizzard, but it does when only 1 person is making them, and the rest are standing around and I over heard the staff say to one that was too be running the drive through window "Did it really take you 30 mine in the bathroom?" The boy looked like a, real go-getter.

Get some employees that are not lazy burn outs. What a mess this place is 6 people behind the counter and 1.5 working drive through is always 8 cars deep and people think they will get food faster walking in...NOPE plus let's practice some Hygienethis is a restaurant.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Dairy Queen. I ordered on my mobile app and when I picked it up in the drive thru, they were rude and had attitude. My app said it would be ready at 9:58, I didn’t get my food until 10:40, my food was cold, drinks had been sitting so long they no longer had ice in them and were flat, my blizzards were drinkable, and then on top of that, food was missing from my order.I will not be going back to this location ever. Going to call corporate and request a refund.

So, if you get a blizzard, there's a good chance they will overfill it, as well as having no lid. It turned into a melting blizzard mess on me and in the car before i could arrive home. I am hesitant to get another blizzard because of that. Second, I get the 6pc chicken strip basket. Which contains6 chicken strips, 2 Texas toast, and fries. I replaced the fries with cheese curds instead, got charged extra for it as expected. Apparently, that means you don't get any Texas toast. Why charge me full price plus extra on the cheese curds just to take the Texas toast away completely? That makes no sense to me, and I feel a bit ripped off. I was willing to pay for it all. Please keep this in mind, thank you.
