Steaks are okay, nothing terrible, but nothing special. Service was lacking, our server definitely didn't check in with us often enough, and there was a forced gratuity of 20% which our server definitely didn't deserve. Will not be going back due to the forced gratuity, tips should be earned not forced. The forced gratuity just allowed our server to not do their job and still get their tip.

Mavericks Steak & Cocktails is a must-visit for steak lovers! I ordered the baseball cut sirloin, and it was absolutely delicious—tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The flavor was outstanding, and the portion size was just right.
I also had the garlic onion potatoes, and they were fantastic—creamy, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the steak. Every bite of the meal was satisfying and well-prepared.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of upscale and comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Was recommended Mavericks by a friend and it did not disappoint! I got the grilled chicken, so nothing too fancy, but did the job and was fast and affordable. If you’re looking for a place with good vibes, food, and fun, look no further!

We stopped by here on our way to North Dakota and I’m so glad we did. The walleye is amazing! My whole table had the Pan fried walleye. My sweet potato fries were sweet and crispy and the cheese burger soup was amazing.
The lobby was clean and the service was fast and friendly. I’m so glad we stopped here. My whole experience was fantastic.

The waitresses were good. The food was a bit bland, average at best. My potato wasn't completely cooked. A bit on the expensive side.
Food was awesome
i am appalled at the sustenance served at this establishment. Upon entering, I was brimming with hope, my expectations were inflated by the glowing reviews. i soon was greeted by a lovely young lady who was quite chipper. The downfall began promptly with the salad. they were nothing special nor delicious. it was drowned in what I can only describe as a dairy avalanche. The texture? Wilting. The flavor? Absent. this was a tragedy of vegetation. Then came my second cousin Joe’s misfortune. he was met with grilled chicken SOAKED in chilled barbecue sauce. his meal was supposed to be breaded fried chicken, he could not choke down the sahara like chicken. my third cousin mario dared to order the prime rib sandwich with mashed potatoes. the second it was brought out, he was taken aback. the mashed up mess of potatoes were extremely dry, hard and undercooked. they were thick going down his gullet. Mario nearly choked on this microwaved monstrosity, gasping for air like a Dickensian orphan. in addition, the sandwich was overly salted. it was so heavily, he could barely finish a bite. next, my great aunt sue begged for a salad. she was greeted with soggy lettuce soaked in a MOUND of plasticy cheese. while, my third cousin isabella called for the jumbo shrimp. unfortunately, the minute she saw these shrimp, she gasped in horror. these shrimp were TINY. she had not felt this betrayed since her wedding night. overall, this was a huge dissatisfaction.

Not from the area and wanted a steak. Was close to hotel. Signature soup...delicious! We each ordered the sirloin, med rare. Hilarious. Toughest steak we have ever gotten eating out. They had cut it wrong in the kitchen. Had a mgr come try to cut it and she admitted it was really tough. (First thought my knife was suoer dull.) Comped my meal as i couldnt chew it. Husband got through his and we told her the flavor was good. Baked potato fine. Rolls with sweet butter unremarkable. Probably will pass nxt time we are in the area.
It was real good food, fun wild West atmosphere and server was good too.
Dirty store, they claim they have no change and poor customer service
My family used to eat at Mavericks all the time and loved it! Since my child was diagnosed with Celiac, we can’t eat here as there is nothing safe for a 7 year old who isn’t going to eat steak or chicken breast as a food of choice. Maybe think about adding one or two options, even a gluten free bun! Something to think about!
Rib roast sandwich was absolutely terrible. Only meat and bread very greasy.
