Stumbled upon this GEM by accident on a business day trip from Sioux Falls. We moved to SF last year from Cajun Country. I was SO impressed with the food I could cry (because besides the people I miss the food the most) The fried shrimp was perfect and my po-boy was like being home. Finished off with a snowball and some great conversation with the owners. Truly made my entire day.
I got the hot plate special which today was pork nachos. It was very good and definitely enough for two people. Have been here a couple times and the food is always amazing! Kim and Mark are super friendly and we always have a good laugh. So sad I'm moving soon. I'll definitely have to visit again!
What a cool place and really great people! I cannot recommend enough! The Shrimp Po-Boy and Pulled Pork Po-Boy are my favorites, put the coleslaw and chicken sauce on both and you won't be disappointed. Don't skip desert. This is home cooking and food made with love. Thanks for being awesome, Mark and Kim! So glad you're in Aberdeen!
