We just had lunch at Oldies Bar and Grill in Bowdle SD. The service was excellent, the food was great and included home made chips and quesadilla dip. Everything was hot and we got our food very fast. With just a few blocks off the highway it's worth it.

This little place is a great stop if you're traveling highway 12 between larger cities. Service was friendly. The meals were prepared in a reasonable time. The pancakes were the largest I've ever seen in person, and very tasty. Don't let the street view deter you from stopping in. Just don't expect entertaining decor. Look for your experience in the people and plan to leave with a satisfied belly.
