What a hidden gem Brookings has in this coffee shop. Ok, maybe not hidden if you live in town but if you are just traveling through or visiting it is. It seems it's often hard to go wrong when choosing to visit a coffee shop that also roasts it's own beans like this place does. Bonus points for also knowing how to make an off menu traditional flat white!

Favorite coffee shop in the area! Great service, always willing to adjust drinks as needed, drinks are wonderful. Also, fantastic ambience.

Truly the best establishment in Brookings to caffeinate yourself , connect with friends, or create ideas for things like homework or other tasks. Whether it be sun, snow, or shine, Kool Beans never disappoints to be one of the premier places in all of Brookings.

Pretty good. Got a lot of different options and it smells awesome in the shop. Not too loud, not awkwardly quiet, and the staff are all great. I usually go there to buy the coffee ground bags to take home, but once in a while I'll get something to have there. I also bought the french press travel cup and it's really really nice.

Wonderful place to go and hang out. The coffee is fantastic. My kids love their hot chocolate too.

Great service and quick stop for coffee. Grabbed 2 coffees to go and spent little time waiting in line for my drink. Super cute business.
