“Stopped here on the way to De Smet after searching for gluten-free options along my route. Craft Chophouse was a repeated suggestion on numerous websites for people with Celiac disease, so despite normally being wary of eating out, I decided to give it a try—and I was not let down.

The alfredo was gluten free, and EXTRAORDINARILY delicious, with an extremely generous sauce portion! The gluten free noodles were rotini, and I'm terribly curious what brand of noodles they are, because even my leftovers were still soft and moist after being refrigerated... Rare that gluten free noodles taste great even cold. I ordered grilled chicken with it, which I cannot recommend enough! Perfectly seasoned, moist, and so tender.

My mother had the Blackened Salmon Oscar—generous seafood portions, wonderfully cooked (including the asparagus), and the hollandaise was creamy and rich just as one would hope. She even commented that the rice was seasoned nicely.

Our server, Preston, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and listened when we explained food allergies. Love that both he and the chefs took our requests seriously.

Brookings is about four hours from my home, but next time I'm craving REALLY fantastic alfredo, it may well be worth the drive.”

“Gosh I love this place, I can't eat gluten and they're always sure to be really accomadating of me. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is beautiful and they have nice relaxing music. I highly recommend the Montauk Roll and Green Tea, my personal favorite food and drink to order. Anyways what I'm saying with this: go to Sake! they have great food, atmosphere, and service. I'd give them a Michelin Star if it were my choice”

“I love Wok N Go! The food is always fresh and hot and sooooooo delicious. I am a bit under the weather today and ordered multiple soups and some noodles and WOW! I feel better already! If you haven’t checked them out yet DO IT you won’t regret it. They don’t have tons of seating so we always order for takeout and usually can pick up within 20 minutes.”

“Passing through town on a road trip and after getting settled into my hotel room I knew pizza and salad was the dinner plan.

After some looking at my options I decided to go with George’s. I walked in to place my to go order. Medium thin crust pizza with pepperoni, onion, garlic and black olives, with a garden salad.

I liked the salad because it was all spring mix, which I like and it tasted fresh. Better than Midwest iceberg salads any day!

The pizza was okay. Not great, not terrible. We at it all and the medium size was enough for the two of us, along with the salad.

The service was good and all the staff was friendly and helpful. The girl that took my order and rang me up was really nice and she helped with all my questions.

The restaurant atmosphere is inviting and has nice decor. If I was staying longer or lived in Brookings I would definitely dine in here. Enjoy their food - it’s pretty good! 🍕”

The lady on the other end of the phone was so accommodating and pleasant even when I asked her to deliver ASAP (only because I knew he would be at work until 11, after that with class and it being his birthday who knew what the rest of the day would be for him.) I so appreciated what they did for me with the distance between here and there! Please support them when able!”

“We were a little disappointed. Hubby ordered the Prime Rib Medium Rare and it was very on the raw red side ... he ate half of it [will cook the rest for a lunch]. Dispite that, he said it was good beef. I ordered the grilled salmon with grilled veggies. The veggies were delicious, but the salmon was very overcooked and very dry. The service was good.”

I ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese, and it was fantastic—the rich, nutty flavor actually reminded me of the sesame flatbreads back home. The lady I spoke to was super friendly and they had my food out super fast! My food stayed warm on the drive home, as they closed up the bag super nice, and my chocolate shake I ordered was thick and really good. It's been several years since I've gone to Arbys, but I'll definitely be back. Some of the best service I've had from a fast food place in a long time. 5 stars!”

“I was at Jimmy Johns yesterday. We ordered 2 of the Vito sandwiches with all the freebies,(mayo,mustard, etc included) and only 2 hot peppers per sandwich. We can do spicy but not that spicy. The guy/gal at the window wasn’t very friendly when we requested our sandwiches be cut in half. So down the road we went only to find they didn’t cut them in half, they loaded both sandwiches with hot peppers, didn’t put any of the sauces or dressing on and I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen turkey on a Vito! “When you first walk in, the smell of delicious BBQ just hits you, and you immediately start salivating. I splurged and ordered the 2 meat combo - pulled pork and chicken salad, with a side of cole slaw and corn bread. I added a side of sweet potato fries and supported the youths at SDSU, and bought some ice cream as well.

Pulled pork was phenomenal, with and without the BBQ sauce. Chicken salad was pretty stellar, I personally, like smaller pieces of chicken, but nonetheless, it was still delicious. Coleslaw was perfectly tangy. The cornbread was a little dry, but the butter and honey they provided made up for that. The sweet potato fries were a hit, too. Perfectly fried and seasoned nicely. The ice cream was nice and creamy and the best way to end this feast.”

“Hard to say yes. Food is great but the service... my order almost fell off the counter after we paid because of the way it was “pushed” across the counter. Also if your not changing your gloves while cleaning out the steam table and your rag is visually dirty and greasy, it’s not clean. #DoBetter Take a deep breath and try again.”
