Had lunch here while on business. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was good. I'd like to have dinner sometime.
We were happy to find this charming restaurant in Brookings! We liked the ambience with the pheasants, chandeliers, seating, and artwork. Coming from Wisconsin to visit out guy at SDSU, we were excited to embrace some of the edge of the west vibes and pheasant theme. The only strange aspect was that the owner’s grandson said that they were trying to incorporate Norwegian culture into the restaurant. For this reason, they don’t serve maple syrup with waffles.
