“Traveling on Hwy 14?- Schedule a stop - or make a special trip. Really flavorful coffee (with many unique options), yummo baked goods, and super friendly staff. Plus - it’s independently owned - so skip Starbucks and support them! (I do think they need a good east/west facing sign on Hwy 14 - you may not see them if you don’t know they are there.)”

“Omg the food here was amazing. The waitress Alivia had our drinks to us fast and was super friendly. The owner lady seemed a little off, and was a bit rude but the rest of the staff and great food made up for it!Dietary restrictions: Great option for diabetics”

“I was impressed by Volga's Subway and have many positive reasons to go back. We did find out that they will no longer be serving gluten free bread anymore which is sad. Please reconsider! See improvements below. Date was 2/20.”

“So good!! They have many options for toppings and drink combinations and they taste amazing!! My favorite is the taro milk tea with egg pudding. The tarp milk tea is sweet but not too sweet and the egg pudding is creamy. 10/10 would recommend.Also, I’m super glad that we have a boba tea shop in Brookings and in South Dakota in general. I like having variety in my snacks and meals.”

“They had a couple of guys behind the counter and helped us every minute we were there. Even gave us a couple of free samples. Cheerful guys. Just the atmosphere didn't want you to stay longer than just enjoying your snacks. Not in a bad way it just didn't make me want to stay longer. Good price.Parking: They do have a few extra spots right next to it in the paid parking lot for specifically the dairy bar and they're only 30 minutes parking.”

“Awesome bakery. Reasonably priced, quality food, staff is extremely friendly and pastries are made fresh at the start of the day rather than made to order, so there's a lot of variety. If you stop in after noon and have less to choose from, it's still delicious and better than anything from hyvee or walmart. Also delicious fresh hot coffee. 5 *'s.”

“I myself love the street tacos and like the other person said. I haven't had tacos like this since Nothern California. Tacos were filled with plenty of meat and sauce was on point. I'd eat every day if they were open daily. I will be back. I also love to buy their dozen of tamales to pop in microwave when im hungry.”

“A nice local restaurant. It was not crowded on the Tuesday evening that I went. I got the grilled walleye fish and it tasted pretty nice. It took a little longer to get my check ready, but overall it was a good experience at the restaurant.”

“This was a cool dive bar and my favorite during a week long stint in SD. I tired several places but always found myself back here for cold drinks and good times in a great atmosphere . Bartenders were the best . It is cash only so bring paper money .”

“I don't want to knock the place because they provided a quick and overall good meal for my family. The pasta special was tasty and the cakes were really good! The chicken salad croissant would not be an item I would recommend to people since there was barely a quarter cup of chicken salad on the croissant and a bunch of lettuce.”

“Found Cubby's as a fluke while in Brookings for work, visited on Monday for lunch and it was much busier than I expected! Sat at the bar with a very friendly bartender (didn't catch his name) and had the crab Rangoon nachos. They were amazing, I was stuffed but couldn't quit eating them and now I feel like I have a garlic cloud around me but I don't care!”

“We were a little disappointed. Hubby ordered the Prime Rib Medium Rare and it was very on the raw red side ... he ate half of it [will cook the rest for a lunch]. Dispite that, he said it was good beef. I ordered the grilled salmon with grilled veggies. The veggies were delicious, but the salmon was very overcooked and very dry. The service was good.”

“Went here for breakfast while we were in the area. I would rank this as one of the top three best breakfasts I have ever had:) Country fried steak and hash browns, with two eggs over easy. Every part of this was cooked perfectly, the hash browns crispy, the eggs done just right. The place was very busy and small, but if I lived near Brookings, I would be a regular in this place:) the service was quick and pleasant, it was a great small town experience, we felt right at home.”

I had ordered some drinks from here last night & when I got home I slipped on some ice & dropped my drinks everywhere, I was beyond upset so I figured I would call & ask to see if they would be willing to make them again for me and without any hesitation he said he would & to just come back & get them! I'm so great full cause I had been craving one of there smoothies for over a week!! Great job guys, keep up the great work❤️”
