Come up to Brookings a few times a year from Sioux Falls just to come here. The burger sliders are reasonably priced and cooked in front of you, their malts are fantastic and the staff is always nice. I love the small town, old school vibes you get from Nicks.

We had an amazing experience our 1st time here (last year) the owner was there at that point. Today was an opposite experience. The guy taking orders was extremely rude & just tossed our papers, slid my pop, spilling it, and walked away, just horrible. Not sure we will return. We were so looking forward to it, I’m extremely disappointed. Food was still amazing and cook was great.
