Come up to Brookings a few times a year from Sioux Falls just to come here. The burger sliders are reasonably priced and cooked in front of you, their malts are fantastic and the staff is always nice. I love the small town, old school vibes you get from Nicks.
Food was delicious! I ordered two, double cheeseburgers. I also got coconut cream pie ?! The orders come out in seconds! Service was awesome, the staff is genuinely friendly and wants to know the customers. That made the experience even better. Atmosphere is good. Nick's Hamburger Shop has been around for 95 years. They are doing it right!

Hard to believe that I have been a Nick's fan for over 60 years (yikes). I am a hard-core fan and like the burgers the original way (Nick never put cheese on a burger in the 60s). Keeping with family tradition, here is a family 4th generation fan. Is it possible to stuff any more burger into this little guy?
