What a lovely place! We had chislic first at the bar as an app with some house cocktails, and they were delightful - only made better by our bartender.

Dinner , we talked through all our options and given fabulous wine recommendations. Our entrées were so incredibly lovely and we followed dinner with olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting in back.

Overall, we had a decadent evening and will be back soon. Need to have dessert next time.

We stopped in for a family lunch this past week. The food was pretty standard, nothing special. Our server was friendly and helpful. The handicap entrance was lacking ease of use for anyone with even minor physical challenges.

To be noted though, this restaurant has a long history in the community and was recently recognized with the James Beard award.

Absolutely incredible food and service. Took my parents here while in town for a family get together and so happy I came across it while searching for something new to try. All three of us enjoyed everything on our plate, though my step-dad wasn't too impressed with the fish and chips, though I can't fault Pheasant for that given he is an Irish immigrant. The service was excellent and I hope to eat here again the next time I'm in Brookings.

Had the most amazing food this past weekend. Very authentic and delicious!

First I want to mention our server, Thomas. He is really good at his job, polite and made sure that we had everything we needed and he was really on top of things. Next food. I had the bison filet mignon and let me tell you, it was incredible. My daughter had the steak and shrimp with creamy red pepper sauce which was also delicious. We were craving a good steak and we got just that. Definitely will be going back to try other items. I gave 4 stars on food as my only complaint would be the lamb chislic was a bit chewy.

I really liked the sensitive customer satisfaction in your restaurant. I see that it is a very clean restaurant. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the glass. Although I am a very meticulous person, I have never seen such a clean glass before. I want to appreciate you. Your employees are very warm-blooded and smiling. I congratulate your employees.

EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were listed on UberEats as a delivery option and as weary business travelers we were very excited to try the excellent fare the locals raved about from The Pheasant. Unfortunately, they had no partnership with that company. Management took the time to personally contact us immediately and address the situation, as well as contact UberEats to prevent further travelers from encountering similar issues.

I've been to my alma mater many times. This place cooks a better medium prime rib than the cattleman's club ( their review is coming). Keeping a certain ounce, they weigh it well. Pierre can't compare. And yes, my brother picked up my meal and went out to weigh it in the vehicle..napkins hide a lot. The best part about this place is they keep a ritzy atmosphere. Fargo and SF has nothing like this place. Stay Ritzy. I absolutely will be back. Texas road house keeps their outer edge salty af. Stay classy Brookings.

I was way underdressed, ripped jeans and dirty shirt, as I stopped in on my lunchbreak from construction job.... (Didn't realize it was kinda a fancier place...out of towner) But the staff was super nice and invited me in all the same. The food was excellent, coleslaw was cold and crisp, fries were cooked to perfection, and the Lamb sloppy joe was super tasty. If you're coming threw Brookings and need a good meal, that's done right. this is your spot.

Food great!! service was excellent. Only one remark from a 50+ customer, the font size in your menu was so small. My eyes hurt!!!!
