Cool spot, good food, with a real nice vibe. The one the I learned is if you spend too much time in Denial, Jack Nicholson will follow you to the bathroom ?. ? You'll have to check it out for yourself.

My wife and I stopped in Custer after being fogged out of the Chief Crazy Horse Memorial. It was a pretty crappy day weather wise and we really didn't know what we were hungry for. When we walked by Denial and saw the sign for Buffalo Chili, it was a no doubter. this is kind of a Cafe/Bar/Tasting Room environment. They have a nice selection of beer , wine and appetizers. We each had a beer, split an order of Pretzel Bites and a bowl of the Buffalo Chili which was called 'Beefalo' Everything was great. The Beefalo was served in a bread bowl. It really hit the spot. If we ever go back, I'll stop here...hopefully, the weather will be better.
Beautiful restaurant and delicious sandwiches
The food was great and the owner was very nice. We will definitely make this a permanent stop on our yearly trip to Custer.
The food was great. Had the chill in the bread bowl which hit the spot. Fun place and took home some unique gifts for the family.
I enjoyed the bread.
A quant little bistro/restaurant/cheese/wine/beer/peanut place. The owner was very friendly and helpful and easy to like. I ordered a cup of her Mexican soup, rice, beef and beans and was so yummy. And the chicken salad on a croissant freshly made and delicious. My spouse ordered a bison chili in a bread bowl which said was the best chili he’d ever eaten. This is a local gem.

Great place. Married couple owns the two places. Both super friendly! Paintings are done by the hubby. He's great! Wine tasting and keep the cute glass. Recommend both places!
Nice little find on a day out riding. Relaxing atmosphere with good beer.
We stopped during a motorcycle ride and decided to give this place a whirl. So glad we did. It was just the perfect pit stop on a hot day!
Love this little spot. Music in the back patio. Friendly atmosphere. Definitely coming back.
We have tried to go to this location for the last two days- hours online say open but they are never open. Have tried to call but no one answers. We really would like to go but there house aren’t updated and it’s never open.
