“Loved the food, and the special was great new York strip steak with 2 sides for $20. The host was super sweet and actually served us more than the waitress. Honestly, only complaint was the waitress. I asked for sugar she never brought it so my little sister got some from the host counter for me, and we never got our drinks refilled or even asked if we needed anything and NO it was not a busy night, I still tipped and left it under the sugar packets.”

“This is a drive thru. Don’t let the small place fool you. Best chicken in the Dakota’s. chicken was tender, wedges were flavorful and baked beans were on point. This is definitely a must try.”

“The bartender was super engaging and kind. We ordered food and there were a lot of things unavailable and he didn’t know so he had to keep coming back but was not a bother at all. The food comes from the bartender place next door. They accommodated my dairy allergy. Overall great spot. It was not busy but I can see how it would get that way. Lots of sports on lots of tvs. Also had betting machines but I don’t know which ones. The bathroom had the highlight of my trip there in that it offered a secret order to the bartender if you are unsafe. I’ve never seen this before but have definitely been in situations where this would have been a dream-really appreciated that they will help someone out in danger.”

“Our family of seven (4 generations) from Texas had breakfast at Baker’s Bakery while staying at Custer visiting the Black Hills area. I had been to Baker’s Bakery 5 years ago and did not realize how big their restaurant was. I had already told some family members we would have to split up because of the small seating area. Much to our surprise the restaurant just keeps going further and further back where they can accommodate larger parties! Do not let the hostess deter you from this restaurant (I never saw her smile the whole time we were there on two different days and watched her seat several tables..the 1st day I thought maybe just a bad morning but she was just as RUDE the 2nd day we went). Their breakfast was the best breakfast we had on our week long vacation, hence the reason we went back our last morning in Custer despite the RUDE hostess! We had pastry items from the bakery that were all so yummy!! We also ordered the Classic, the Breakfast Tacos, the Denver Scramble and the Smothered Breakfast Burrito. The burrito alone could feed 2 or 3 people, it was huge!! The green chili sauce they use is Delish!!! The coffee was also very good!! Both servers we had were very friendly and food delivery was very fast! I just wished the hostess would have been more friendly and would have gladly given 5 stars!!”

“Didn’t feel like cooking so ordered Pizza Mill. We ordered Chicken Alfredo and a Reuben Sandwich with onion rings and a side salad. Delicious!!! The salad was fresh, my husband really enjoyed the Reuben and the Alfredo was extremely good. “Visiting from another state, we stayed in this little town. The menu had a lot of selections to choose from. We needed our food to be carry-out, and the staff was very patient and friendly on the phone to answer all of our questions. Food was prepped on time. After many limitations of finding food on a road trip, this dinner was a nice change and we enjoyed everything we ordered.”

“Great atmosphere and delishious homemade ice cream. We came when there were several large groups arriving at the same time. The employees were patient and efficient (there were a ton of kids to serve and only 2 people working). Very impressed”

“Such a fun place with great food! We stayed in Custer for our spring break vacation to Mount Rushmore and several places were still closed for the season. We were thrilled Buglin Bull was open and definitely not disappointed! Our server, Nicole, was the best and we certainly recommend!”

“Yummy for your tummy? It was like a Jason Aldean movie. We were in the Custer location and customers stuck up for the worker against a rude coworker. My kids and I have went here for years as a family activity. The big meal with a sundae is perfect. The local in rapid in Campbell is also great. My dad and I painted the owners house and both locations are excellent!”

“Was a little concerned based on some of the reviews... walked over from the BW and had a lovely meal. My kid had the kids' pasta and Cesar salad, I had the shrimp, as did the wife... small orders, but it was very good.”

“Cheeseburger and fries for $14 which included lettuce, tomato and pickles, bison burgers, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, chili, subs, salads, ice cream and beverages available. Burger was pretty good and we were hungry.”
