“The food was wonderful and there were so many options! Buffett is currently closed due to pandemic but they have a very large menu of options - Indian to Central Asian with some Nepalese specialties - as well as mixed platters to make it possible to try a variety of things. The menu descriptions are fairly detailed and the spiciness level is a question asked for most items mild, medium, spicy). prices run from 8-12 for appetizers and 12-20 for meals and mixed platters which seems quite reasonable for the serving size and skill in preparation. It would be a wonderful place for families, romantic dinners out, or a good place to meet an old friend and talk over 2 or 3 courses. Inside was very comfortable, good spacing and light, not too loud, with many beautiful decorations and carved accents. The owners and staff were wonderful - friendly, accurate, quick to help and quite fast food preparation. I would absolutely come back!”

“We went ice skating this afternoon. We went back and forth for ice cream and there was one young lady working by herself. She was working her butt off and was very polite and stayed cool under pressure running between the front and the outside window. Oh and our ice cream was awesome! “we had an amazing winter tour! ive never been to South Dakota until our trip. we saw the Dances with Wolves set, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer National Park. I had 2 kids with me and my tour guide was amazing and patient. we enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back for a summer trip. This was perfect for winter because after driving for hours we had someone driving us, comfy seats, and a safe place for all our stuff. highly reccomend! the tour bus was super clean, smelled great and the seats were super comfy!”

“We had a great experience at Mexico Tipico. The atmosphere of the restaurant is bright and happy. We were served lots of delicious chips and salsa. Our waitress was nice and friendly. The food was delicious and they had lots of choices. We had the steak dish, which was tender and delicious, and a huge burrito with flavorful chicken and veggies, with a great cheese sauce. “Would absolutely recommend Shipwrecks Bar & Grill! They have their own separate gluten free fryer. My 2 year old son with Celiac and other allergies was able to have walleye fingers with French fries and loved them! They even made it into a kids meal for him! The head chef was very knowledgeable about celiac and willing to talk with us! Wonderful experience all around!”

“We used to go to the southside location but recently started going to the north location. The overall vibe feels more laid back, the folks working seem more chill, and Stephanie (the “mean old lady” haha, her joking words) was super nice and I saw and heard her interacting with other guests, many of whom she seemed to recognize which is always a lovely thing to see when employees recognize customers and can build that relationship with them. While we’ve never had true complaints at the southside location, we do prefer the north side one and will absolutely be back!”

“5-Star Beer and burger pairing. Hay Camp has solid line of beers-sours-gluten free options and seating. They do fill up in summer months, so judge your timing. Pin ball and friendly staff makes it a good place to be. Grabbed food from Dakota Meat Company. Had a 2-Pattie wagu bacon-cheese burger with fries for $18+tax+tip and brought it to Hay Camp Brewery. Fabulous.”

“Where you going to find a Great American barley wine in the Midwest? It's not often you find a craft brewery that doesn't only appeal to the lowest common denominator out here in the middle of the country, but Zymurcracy consistently puts out excellent and diverse beers. They don't push degenerate stuff like most of the breweries around here do and I've never been disappointed with anything I've had over the years. The staff is also personable and the prices are what you would expect from a microbrewery; I just don't have anything negative to say about them.”

Not the typical “burnt sludge” you get when asking for a regular coffee. I grabbed a chai and the gal was very pleasant and a “girl’s girl” type😊. Also, gave a decent military discount! Nothing at all to feel “uncomfortable” about, it’s just coffee folks, with some pretty ladies included. Thanks for the good wake up cup! Moving across the country over the next several months. Will DEFINITELY be using this as one of our coffee stops.♥️”

We had the family platter for 4, the 3 of us couldn't eat it all. It was all very good. Josh the waiter was very polite, didn't say much tho. Im sure he will become more comfortable as he gets older.

Legit hand breaded chicken fried steak and real mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. No prebreaded steak or boxed mix used in our meal. Complimentary bread before the meal from their in house bakery was tender and tasty as was their coconut cream pie with authentic flaky, home style crust with fresh whipped cream topping and rich filling. This will not disappoint!”

“The food, service, and prices are great! I'm just visiting for work, so I've only been twice, but I've tried their boneless wings, fries, cheddar cheese balls, and chislic and all four were immaculate.
Even with a decent crowd, the food comes out hot and perfectly crispy. It was my first time trying chislic and it was super! It has a lovely, assertive spice coating and is crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.
And as far as the bar, their service is awesome. They manage to keep everyone's glasses full while also vibing with the regular patrons. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!”
