Buffett is currently closed due to pandemic but they have a very large menu of options - Indian to Central Asian with some Nepalese specialties - as well as mixed platters to make it possible to try a variety of things. The menu descriptions are fairly detailed and the spiciness level is a question asked for most items mild, medium, spicy). prices run from 8-12 for appetizers and 12-20 for meals and mixed platters which seems quite reasonable for the serving size and skill in preparation. It would be a wonderful place for families, romantic dinners out, or a good place to meet an old friend and talk over 2 or 3 courses. Inside was very comfortable, good spacing and light, not too loud, with many beautiful decorations and carved accents. The owners and staff were wonderful - friendly, accurate, quick to help and quite fast food preparation. I would absolutely come back!“

“Great spot for casual food and drinks in downtown Rapid City. Huge list of local and craft beers on draft, even a seasonal N/A kombucha on draft. Lots of great N/A beer options in a can/bottle as well. Decent selection of wine as well.

We had flat bread pizzas and they were great. One of these would certainly feed two people. We each got our own and had leftovers for lunch the next day!

Service was good, chill vibe with TVs to catch a game of that’s your thing. Seating can be tough if you don’t get here early.“

“We went there on a Tuesday so there weren't a lot of people, which my wife and I loved.
They are ok with kids, although they didn't have any highchairs.
Food is served by the place besided them, its not too much of a hassel and everybody is very helpful and nice.

Vegetarian options: The place next door has some vegetarian options like cold sandwiches.
You can ask them to remove meat for you for other options.

Pad Thai is also good however if you expect the normal sweet pad thai in the US please let them know that you don't want the special sauce in it.“

“Service was great from the hostess to servers. The two others with me had steaks, good flavor but prefer a thicker cut instead of thin cut that looks bigger. Had the salmon and it was very good. One had the brussel sprouts that had maybe 3 slices and the rest was burnt, loose leaves. Manager blamed it on the supplier, if that is the issue then remove it from menu, there were at least two other items not available.“

“Classic story. A couple on a date shows up 15-20 min before close and she orders a well done steak (sad panda) and he orders rare New York strip.

Everything came out of the to kitchen perfectly. The manager on shift checked in with us and I can say with a line cook history I told her to order a salad instead 😂

“It's dangerous and they warn you; it's just so easy to drink. I don't know what magic is going on here but nothing has any alcohol burn, but it's definitely in there. Everything we tried (which was nearly everything on the menu) was flavorful but not overdone. I highly recommend a stop here but don't come expecting a typical bourbon that has a harsh burn, as these are flavored liqueurs. The owner was super friendly and was a pleasure to talk with. We had to get out of there before we got too tipsy to walk back to the car because everything was so good. We bought a couple of bottles to take home and can't wait to enjoy them. However I was uncomfortable when I opened the door to the first thing the drive says to me is did I leave him a tip? I said yes. He continued by saying well he didn't have the slip for proof. I became threatened and gave him 5 more dollars as it felt uncomfortable. I will not be ordering there 😒 anymore.“

“Always an extraordinary experience at the Pizza Ranch, Rapid City, SD (south) location. What's more... they have added what they call "crantastic" salad bar options... spinach, red onions, candied pecan and cranberry salad toppings, new dressings, etc., for a healthier salad to go with their amazing fried chicken!

“We were in town for an event and stopped here for supper. I’m gluten and dairy free and the staff was helpful and my burger on the gluten free bun with the baked sweet potato was the best meal I have had at a restaurant since my dietary restrictions! Wholeheartedly recommend.“

“As a trucker of the old school, I'm very appreciative to the few remaining truck stop diners. The trucking heritage is now dead and places like this have mostly been replaced with trash fast food.

However, while I understand the times are what they are, over $17 for a simple to go breakfast is pretty high. It's mainly high because you've chosen to participate in the post covid entitlement era. You should absolutely not be automatically including a 20% gratuity in to go orders.“

My wife's dinner salad lettuce might have been bad, unfortunately. Sadly, we tried the Perkins across town initially and now two times in a row, never even got acknowledged in the lobby while waiting. So we drove 5 miles across town to the Perkins on Mount Rushmore Road and had a much better experience.“
