“I was greeted promptly, employees are polite exhibiting etiquette and manners, food was served hot. Great quiet atmosphere with nice dining experience allowing for enjoyable table conversations. Chicken tikka masala mild was tasty, garlic naan, and chai tea. Ive had better chai tea but this was okay. Bathrooms were okay too.“

“This is our go-to breakfast place now because of how good it is. The waitress is prompt and kind. She welcomes you like you are a dear friend, even if it’s your first visit! The food is reasonably priced and cooked fresh to order. I’ve tried most of the menu over my visits and I haven’t had anything bad. That means a lot because my friends and family would consider me a bit of a foodie. It’s popular with the locals so occasionally you have to wait a little bit. The waitlist is a whiteboard you write your name on and they are very careful to seat you in the order you arrive!Highly recommend!“

“The prices are high, so my expectations were for a great meal. I tried the bison broth ramen, They were out of bison so I got a beef skewer worth the bison broth. The beef was a bit tough and lacked seasoning. My wife got the pork ramen with pork belly. The pork also lacked seasoning. Both broths were above average. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. But overall this was a good but not great meal.“

“We didn't do the breakfast or the dinner we came in about 9am and saw just the town which had props from the movie dancing with the wolfs and to me I like old houses plus they do all kinds of crafts on sight like rope making and tin making and penny press it was interesting to see it we only spent an hour but it was worth it saw things in the gift shop I would have loved to buy. But the sight its worth a little bit to look at it.“

“Booths and tables available. Lots of locals in for lunch. Service was great. Food was mostly all very good, with the exception of the chips which tasted stale? Weird texture, you could see they had been deep fried, but something was off. Salsa was good though. Would return.“
“Amazing beers, huge space, tons of games to play while you're there, and they even have food trucks outside on occasion to satisfy that hunger.Stumbled across this place on my last day in town, and I was not disappointed at all. Was the perfect cap to a nice week of vacation. Next time I'm in town, I will absolutely be hitting Hay Camp up.“
“We did a half-day winter tour ... great personalized attention and info from Tour Guide Jerry who gave us a grand tour not just of Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, and the Black Hills, but also around town and the uniquely charming Fort Hays Chuckwagon. Jerry was also very accommodating with our timing and accommodations, and even gave us some bonus gifts. A fantastic tour we'll never forget!“

“Just do this. We were in town for vacation and wanted to go with somewhere local. This checks all the boxes. DO NOT leave without dessert! The butterscotch and key lime pie were the best we've ever had and the chocolate cake was delicious! The hush puppies with butter and honey had just the right touch of spice necessary to be legit.Service was fast and friendly, and it was a unique and fun mix of Midwest and Southern hospitality! This place is a must if you're a local, on vacation or just passing through.

“Was visiting my daughters and their families here in Rapid City and neither of them had been here before so decided to give it a shot to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was great… service was amazing and to top it off a very generous patron anonymously paid for our meal! When we asked the waitress who it was so we could personally thank them, she said the individual doesn’t want to recognized. So both of my daughters’ husbands were unable to join us to celebrate as one was out of town and the other was sick…. Both of my daughters are in their third trimester so let’s just say we were all very hungry and wanting to enjoy! Thank you Shipwreck for the great experience and also to the generous individual for picking up our tab!“

“The food was great the service was great the atmosphere was that of a bar at the beginning of the night. The only concern is that it's not Fluffy friendly there is only booth seating and the tables are fixed so if you're hefty or pregnant it is best find somewhere different to eat“

Top notch restaurant in Rapid with a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices for high quality food. PS - Chislic is not on the menu but they have it if you ask for it! ❤️“

“One of the only places in town that you can get a good Indian taco anytime. Burgers are amazing as well and I was so surprised to see they had my favorite beer on tap already. Surprising because it is a seasonal beer. Highly recommend this place, especially for large groups.“
“It's dangerous and they warn you; it's just so easy to drink. I don't know what magic is going on here but nothing has any alcohol burn, but it's definitely in there. Everything we tried (which was nearly everything on the menu) was flavorful but not overdone. I highly recommend a stop here but don't come expecting a typical bourbon that has a harsh burn, as these are flavored liqueurs. The owner was super friendly and was a pleasure to talk with. We had to get out of there before we got too tipsy to walk back to the car because everything was so good. We bought a couple of bottles to take home and can't wait to enjoy them. Keep up the great work Jerry!“

“The restaurant is in an old building. It has been painted and tries to look nice but it is still old. The staff are nice and are bilingual. Unfortunately not all of the customers are nice, what a bummer for the staff! This was my first visit there after my co-worker told me that it was good. I tried it and I agree and I am definitely going back.“

“I ordered online. Called an hour later to check the order status, it was getting ready to leave the store. However I was uncomfortable when I opened the door to the first thing the drive says to me is did I leave him a tip? I said yes. He continued by saying well he didn't have the slip for proof. I became threatened and gave him 5 more dollars as it felt uncomfortable. I will not be ordering there 😒 anymore.“

“Service was great from the hostess to servers. The two others with me had steaks, good flavor but prefer a thicker cut instead of thin cut that looks bigger. Had the salmon and it was very good. One had the brussel sprouts that had maybe 3 slices and the rest was burnt, loose leaves. Manager blamed it on the supplier, if that is the issue then remove it from menu, there were at least two other items not available.“

“I did take out for 4. The employee on the phn aas very friendly and professional. I felt the price was great. I kno this is a chain steak house so their prices shld be average, but to feed 4 it was only about $80 plus tip as well. with a bloomin onion, bread, salad, steak and a side for all i felt tht was reasonable. even after the drive home it was all warm still and tasted good! We heated some in the oven while ate thr salad and it was great. The location sucked and it doesnt look great. Its visable from the interstate, but it was not easy to find how to reach it. U have to pull into the hotel parking lots and drive behind all that and there it was,..“

“We have been to wings and rings a few times now so I guess it’s time to write a review. The first time I visited this restaurant I ordered some of the appetizers for a meal and they were alright, nothing to brag about. I think if anything the garlic Parmesan fries were pretty delicious. The second time I visited I ended up getting some cauliflower wings and loved their sauce options. Now the last time I went I tried their Korean chicken burger and this is where it is at. I highly recommend this burger and make sure to upgrade your fries to the garlic Parmesan covered. The atmosphere is a typical sports bar with no hard liquor but several different taps available. The wait staff has been great and I have nothing to complain about there. Great selection on their menu and choices for everyone. Would recommend as a place to take family or friends who are really picky and chicken is always a winner.“

“The chef was awesome and funny. The food was amazing. Tasty and juicy, a lot of flavor!Reason I give 4 stars is because of our waiter. She didn't take my order properly, I asked for a booster seat and she pointed to where the boosters were at instead of bringing me one. Got me really upset. And to top it off a gratuity is added to bill. If service was great I wouldn't have mind.“

“Service was absolutely amazing and the food was very delicious. We had ordered the Pad thai and the Szechuan beef. Both were really delicious and next time I would add a little more spice. Also the pad thai is more of a Chinese Lo mein dish but still good. The lunch menu is small but the soup and sides were also good. Will be back to try new items next time.“

“The hostess was very accommodating on where we wanted to sit. Savanna was our server and she was fantastic. I really wanted the Barbacoa. But I wanted the sampler and it had chicken quesadillas. She was kind enough to switch out the chicken quesadillas with the Barbacoa. My husband has steak fajita and shrimp, and he also was very satisfied. A lot of food that we could not take home with us because we are traveling. We had a side of guacamole, and that was also fresh and very yummy.“

“I finally got the chance to eat at the Mudhole and I was not disappointed. When you walk in you seat yourself, which is common in small cafes. I was looking for the big chalk board menu but they have since changed it to personal menus, but the food choices seemed the same. My partner and I ordered the Mud Bog because the reviews on that were plentiful and it was delicious! You pay at the Cafe window and they do take cards. On a side note the water was so good!“
