“The food was wonderful and there were so many options! Buffett is currently closed due to pandemic but they have a very large menu of options - Indian to Central Asian with some Nepalese specialties - as well as mixed platters to make it possible to try a variety of things. The menu descriptions are fairly detailed and the spiciness level is a question asked for most items mild, medium, spicy). prices run from 8-12 for appetizers and 12-20 for meals and mixed platters which seems quite reasonable for the serving size and skill in preparation. It would be a wonderful place for families, romantic dinners out, or a good place to meet an old friend and talk over 2 or 3 courses. Inside was very comfortable, good spacing and light, not too loud, with many beautiful decorations and carved accents. The owners and staff were wonderful - friendly, accurate, quick to help and quite fast food preparation. I would absolutely come back!“

“we had an amazing winter tour! ive never been to South Dakota until our trip. we saw the Dances with Wolves set, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer National Park. I had 2 kids with me and my tour guide was amazing and patient. we enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back for a summer trip. This was perfect for winter because after driving for hours we had someone driving us, comfy seats, and a safe place for all our stuff. highly reccomend! the tour bus was super clean, smelled great and the seats were super comfy!“

Pin ball and friendly staff makes it a good place to be. Grabbed food from Dakota Meat Company. Had a 2-Pattie wagu bacon-cheese burger with fries for $18+tax+tip and brought it to Hay Camp Brewery. “We had a great experience at Mexico Tipico. The atmosphere of the restaurant is bright and happy. We were served lots of delicious chips and salsa. Our waitress was nice and friendly. The food was delicious and they had lots of choices. We had the steak dish, which was tender and delicious, and a huge burrito with flavorful chicken and veggies, with a great cheese sauce. And I dont mean that the dishes were just good...they were GREAT!!! Romaine Wedge Salad...Brussel Sprouts...Bison Sliders...Crab Cakes. Ji5st delicious. And add to that how commited they are to local and sustainable ingredients. Got my business forever!“

“Would absolutely recommend Shipwrecks Bar & Grill! They have their own separate gluten free fryer. My 2 year old son with Celiac and other allergies was able to have walleye fingers with French fries and loved them! They even made it into a kids meal for him! The head chef was very knowledgeable about celiac and willing to talk with us! Wonderful experience all around!“

“This restaurant is a solid 5-star with Incredible food and attentive staff. It is a a local favorite but this traveler will return! Legit hand breaded chicken fried steak and real mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. No prebreaded steak or boxed mix used in our meal. Complimentary bread before the meal from their in house bakery was tender and tasty as was their coconut cream pie with authentic flaky, home style crust with fresh whipped cream topping and rich filling. This will not disappoint!“

“Service was great from the hostess to servers. The two others with me had steaks, good flavor but prefer a thicker cut instead of thin cut that looks bigger. Had the salmon and it was very good. One had the brussel sprouts that had maybe 3 slices and the rest was burnt, loose leaves. Manager blamed it on the supplier, if that is the issue then remove it from menu, there were at least two other items not available.“

“We brought our whole Boxing team from Nebraska to eat here on Saturday night and the staff from the cook to our server was TOP NOTCH! The cook even made a special bowl with all of his favorite sauces for one of our fighters. Our server engaged with us and made sure we had what we needed at all times! “Our server was basically running the place and doing everything. I saw another girl at the front once but besides that he was the one who had tons and tons of tables and doing everything. Besides waiting a whole on some stuff, (he was busy so it was very understandable) he had great service and made sure we got everything. If it werent for him im not sure we would have had a great time.“

“As a trucker of the old school, I'm very appreciative to the few remaining truck stop diners. The trucking heritage is now dead and places like this have mostly been replaced with trash fast food.

However, while I understand the times are what they are, over $17 for a simple to go breakfast is pretty high. It's mainly high because you've chosen to participate in the post covid entitlement era. You should absolutely not be automatically including a 20% gratuity in to go orders.“
