“Last place we ate at while in the area the last three days. This is the only restaurant that I would tell people is a must visit. The menu is basic but the food is so much better than anything in Deadwood. The bacon cheeseburger was definitely in my top five all-time.“

“I had forgotten to make a review but thinking back I feel it was a noteworthy experience and I wanted to share. Presidents day had just passed, and my husband and I decided to stay at the lodge with our dogs for a few days during the week. we walked over for dinner, had small conversations with staff regarding lodging and our dogs staying with us. When we paid our ticket, they brought out a steak that had been cooked incorrectly in the kitchen and asked if we would like to give to our hounds instead of them discarding. Our dogs ate like king and queen that night! Thank you for the years of memories, can't wait for another season!“

“Fuji San is my go to for a treat myself meal. All of their rolls are fresh, flavorful and delicious. Ownership/management could not be more kind if they tried! I usually call ahead for take out and things are ready within minutes. What a treat it is to have Fuji in our little town of Spearfish!“

“This pizza is delicious. It is the closest thing you can get out here to New Haven style pizza with a perfect crust, just the right amount of chew, a well balanced sauce that is really tasty and fresh high quality ingredients from the cheese to the toppings. I eat their pizza frequently and I love it. This is the real deal. Delicious!“

“Did it right, got there early. Steak medium rare. An amazing experience and thank FLL we picked it. Nicole our server was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations. For the manager, my only recommendation would be to have the hostess a little more welcoming and concerned about their job and maybe better communication about what to do before you get the test to go down stairs before “everyone “ gets the same text at opening. I didn’t have an issue but many were complaining about the disorganization. Will definitely be back in a next visit and no doubt a recommendation to others if you are unsure. This was also on a Kool nights week day 1.“

“Wait staff was good, but we ordered the brisket queso sandwich. Way too soggy, it was difficult to eat. It wasn’t bad, but needs tweaked. Why not serve the queso brisket on corn chips? I have had better sandwiches at Mavericks that are no longer on the menu.“

“great place, great food, good prices. we stop there everytime we r in town. however today I was so disappointed we walked out. we were a party of 8 adults 2 kids, the young server(not the normal lady) was very rude and unwelcoming from the start. we asked to pull two tables together, as we have in the past numerous times and she said "no you will be in the way." now mind you there were only two tables being used at the time. it wouldn't have bothered me so much, but her attitude from start sucked. im hoping she was just having a bad day. still will be our favorite place to eat, juat not this weekend..“

“A lot bigger inside than it appears from the outside... I chose to eat inside to avoid the windy conditions which would have probably cooled off my burger and fries faster than I could eat them. Friendly staff... Casual environment... Easy option for food with touristy prices... but the whole town is touristy. If you're just a party of one or two... sit at the front window for people watching.“

“Terrible hostess. We're told there was only high-top seating left as we were seated walked by numerous booths that were open. No one came to serve us. we left after 10 minutes of silence, while the hostess was on her phone outside of the kitchen. Boy, was she shocked when we picked up our things and left. Motto "Everyone's welcome" was by the far the biggest lie that was told yesterday. extremely disappointed. -5/10“

“Super cute brewery with a relatively large beer garden. Good unique beers and dangerously delicious mead. Cookies and popcorn were icing on the cake. The cookie was large and so delicious, both chewy and crunchy. Highly recommend stopping in!“
