Loud, but it was a bar with dining room and there was a football game on and loud music, that's to be expected. Menu wasn't updated online, so didn't get what we came for. Ordered a steak sandwich in lieu of a cheese steak sandwich, didn't hit the spot and didn't like the rosemary bread it was on. Should have a separate waitress for dinning room customers as when they got busy at the bar, you had to wait for service. Not a bad place to dine, server was...

This is our favorite spot in the Black Hills! The bartenders are super friendly, the atmosphere is fun, the food is good (burgers are best is town) and the beer is ice cold. The Gold Pan and Calamity Jane’s next door are now combined so you can get a variety of excellent dishes while throwing back a few cold ones. We love this place!

…. stopped for a cold beverage after hiking Hell Canyon (late September). Bartender was working her A$$ off …. kudos to her (I think the name on the ticket said “Ned”) ….anyway … it was busy and she made the best of it! We ordered Walleye Sandwich and fries …. it was good, but the menu said “pan fried walleye”, …. but it was actually deep fried walleye ….nevertheless…. we were okay…. Life is too short to worry about some things!
