It was a hot day, and this ice cream hit the spot. Servers we polite and friendly and the maple ice cream cone was fantastic. We will be back again! Loved the historic old building. Be sure to stop and look around.

Wonderful and tasty ice cream in a beautiful, historic building within walking distance of all things downtown Custer.

Had 1 cone with chocolate butter finger and the other was a butter pecan and both were amazing!

My fiancé and I had just finished an 8 mile hike and this was exactly what we needed! A superb find and the best homemade ice cream we’ve both ever had. The waffle cones were perfect - not too sweet but just enough! Definitely get the coffee ice cream if available! 10/10.

My daughter and I loved it so much we came back twice in one day! The teenage staff that were working had excellent customer service. ?

Kid-friendliness: Staff was so kind - spoke directly to the kids and let them order for themselves. Lots of kid-friendly flavors and size options.

Yummy home made ice cream for the whole family. Staff were very friendly and helpful when checking for egg allergy for son as well.

Dietary restrictions: Staff was able to take time and check ingredients on ice cream for egg allergy. They also have ingredients listed on pints.

We always enjoy ice cream when we vacation and Horatio's has a become a must stop when in Custer. It's delicious and well priced. Our family had mint chocolate chip, cotton candy, black raspberry, and key lime pie. All of them were spectacular! We were able to find a table outside that was in the shade, which was appreciated as it was a hot day.
