The stew was good, however, I sat down for 15 mins, no water no server, has to go to the host to ask to be serve a menu and a water.
Had to wait another 20 mins for the check, oh don’t worry they also forget to bring me the kuchen (dessert) , and I had to ask for it. Comes in a box, looks like it’s made in the year of 1900s , saggy and mold.
Wasted my time and my continue experience to the museum.

The outdoor seating is gorgeous, especially around sunset. It’s one of those places where you just want to linger a little longer after your meal.

After a very moving experience at the Crazy Horse Memorial, we went to the laughing water. There, we waited in line for over 30 minutes then decided to just have a snack in the nearby snack bar ( attached to restaurant) It was awful! Both places were totally understaffed and the young women were so miserable( due to the overwhelming situation) and kept leaving the register/ ordering area to wipe tables ! Same at the restaurant!! So there were several buses with a multitude of people who needed to eat and this is what we encountered!! This place needs to be managed so much better!!

My salad was fine, pricey, but expected for convenience and being at a tourist attraction. It would have been nice to have better lettuce (it was very white) My parents didn't love the pulled pork, but my daughters thought the quesadilla was good. The coffee was actually surprisingly tasty. It wasnt flavored but had a nutty essence to it. Far better than the hotel coffee!

Lots of great options, good and fast service. This is essentially a museum restaurant and it functions more efficiently and with less additional costs than most museum restaurants I have visited.

4 of us ate at the snack bar, no hamburger available for burgers, bratwurst were given cold with un-melted cheese. When directed to the customer microwave, it was broken. Would not recommend, got 1 star because 9 year old got a pretzel and cheese to her liking.
The fry bread at Laughing Water in Crazy Horse is soft, warm, and buttery.

I had the Tatonka stew that came with fry bread, and I had it on the side with powdered sugar and honey. The fry bread was the star of the show, and the stew was a bit mild in my opinion, but it might just be how the stew normally tastes.
