Super friendly staff, tasty food, and great portions. I had the tatanka stew with fry bread and thought it was excellent. Needless to say, our visit to Crazy Horse was great as well!

Delicious Native American Taco's!Had the most strangest encounter at the restaurant. After touring the beautiful museum we stopped by for taco's.We had our small Yorkie with us so we wanted to eat outside and so we asked. The hostess was unsure and asked the lady manager who promptly said they don't serve the outside seats that's only for the quick convenience store. So I asked can I take to go then, and THEN eat outside. The hostess again asked the manager who again said they don't serve outside. The hostess repeated the question this time emphasizing it's a Togo order, the manager frustratingly said they do NOT do Togo. The hostess apologized confusingly, and so I asked if we dined in and didn't finish could we take the left overs. The hostess asked this to the manager who again repeated loudly THEY DO NOT DO TOGO ORDERS. The hostess explained about eating in and taking the left overs, the manager was then ok with this?So I waited outside while my wife sat down at a table by herself and ordered our meal. The girl who was part of this whole ordeal already knew and asked if she wanted everything in a Togo container, THANK YOU!The food was brought out in a Togo container and so we ate in our car so we didn't upset the manager, just in case.I don't understand why this was so difficult.Major props to the hostess for understanding our situation.Booo to the manager.Food was fantastic!Taco's are big enough they can be shared.I do appreciate the museum allowed pets, we carried him the entire time.Parking: Huge parking lot. Plenty of space.

Tatanka Stew with Indian Fry Bread! Don't miss this one folks. It was perfect for a cold, snowy day at the MemorialTender chunks of buffalo/bison taters carrots peas and a perfectly spiced brown gravy sauce! Why not have dessert. If you have never heard of Kuchen (Koo- Gen) give it a shot as well. I had the cherry at it was gone before I knew it

Great place to eat while visiting Crazy Horse. We got seated quickly. Ordered cheese burger with French fries. Great service from staff. We also ordered the fry bread.

Not only can you get great food, amazing service from friendly staff - you have a view of Crazy Horse through the window. While you're visiting, you need to stop in. Not only is it a restaurant, but they also have a snack shop to fulfill any thing you're craving. They go above and beyond for their customers. The Indian taco, yum is all I can say.

Lunch was amazing! We split the Tatanka stew! I had the BLT and my husband had the Native American taco. The food was so good! The staff was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place.

We were so disappointed. The buffet was the only food available during our time. The food was old, dry, hard, and disgusting. We had to chase down the server to get drinks. We had to ask for fresh foods to be placed in the buffet. The meatloaf was so hard and dry it could not even be cut with a knife. The rolls were like rocks. Many of the containers were empty. The pork was good. The corn was okay. We expected to have a meal of local and Native American foods but that was not to be. This could be a real highlight and stand out restaurant with better management, better food, and less lazy workers. Phones really need to be banned during work hours.

We were lucky enough to get hungry before the noon rush, so got right in. We ordered off the menu bypassing the buffet (which looked like an average buffet). I had the Indian Taco which was delicious and my friend had the stew, which was also good. Glad we had the opportunity to eat here.

The restaurant is in the middle of the Crazy Horse complex and offers a good view of the monument. It was surprisingly affordable given the context and the quality of the food. I highly recommend the Indian Taco, and be sure to save room for the authentic desserts!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly with a kid menu

#LaughingWaterRestaurant takes its name from an area creek with headwaters at the bottom of Crazy Horse Mountain. We were seated looking out the window with great views of the Crazy Horse monument. The waitress took our order and the food arrived quickly and hot. My husband opted for the #BBQBourbonBurger which was drizzled with a wonderful bourbon BBQ sauce. the burger came with several strips of bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and some lovely onion rings. The burger came with a choice of side, he enjoyed the #PotatoSaladI wanted to try one of their specialties the #TatankaStewPrime cuts of tender Black Hills Bison, slow cooked with carrots, sweet peas, onions, potatoes and celery, simmered in their own blend of tasty seasonings, served with fry bread, and cheese garnish. I loved that the stew came with their native fry bread. The dish was yummy, loved the flavor, and enjoyed dipping the bread in the stew.Overall a great meal, with a great view with wonderful service. A great way to end our visit at Crazy Horse Memorial.
